Summary: Once More The Master Suceeds In His Own Dark World
Review: Average rating 3.5 stars? No way This book in essence brings together everything Dean Koontz is good at, the characters, the plot, and the settings. There's also an unmistakable feeling throughout the novel that "Midnight Bay" is the only place in the world. The thing that most impressed me about this book are the settings and the conversations between Christopher Snow and others - the dark kitchen, the sheriff's car - normally they'd seem cosy but instead there's a perfectly crafted atmosphere that someone is out there watching. All three of the main characters are fascinating Christopher Snow, Sasha Goodall and Bobby Halloway - lets hope that Koontz's hint comes true and we do spend more time with them.

Summary: I can't wait to read the continuation
Review: This is one of Koontz's best books. I couldn't put it down. I never got bored with the flow of the book or the story. I am looking forward to reading the continuation in Sieze the Night

Summary: Fear nothing is right. There's nothing to fear here
Review: I got this book as a Christmas present. I must say that this book is one of the absolute worst I have ever read. "Fear Nothing" is right - I wasn't even creeped out at all. I kept reading to see how bad the book could get, and I was not disappointed. I'm not even sure that this book qualifies as a horror novel. The only thing that can be said for it is that Mr Koontz (or his ham-fisted ghost-writers) knows how to tell a story in first person. If only the story was interesting...

Summary: This book grabs hold of you and will not let go!
Review: Not only is this book a sensational thriller it also touches the heart. Dean Koontz writes so well that I could almost feel the pain and joy of the characters.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Good but not great...
Review: This book started off great. The beginning was very intense and exciting. However, the end lacked the excitement it started out with...it ran out of gas. I'm a first time koontz reader and this book made me want to read more of his stuff, even though I didn't think it was great...

Summary: Keep your money
Review: I have heard so much about Dean Koontz that I thought I ought to give the author a try. Ok, so I tried and it is awful. Not only is the 'suspense' predictable but the author tries to impress the reader with off-the-beaten-track vocabulary and it comes across as extremely contrived. Yikes!

Summary: What a Disappointment!
Review: Sorry Dean, but this book was just not up to your usually great works. I've been a fan a very long time, have read all your books, but this one just didn't cut it, the last 3rd of the book was when the story got going. Don't think I'll bother with the 2nd part. "INTENSITY" was GREAT so I know you've got what it takes, please try again.

Summary: Not a typical Koontz
Review: This book is one of the few boring books written by Koontz. Normally, I'm one of his biggest German fans and I'm always looking forward to reading his novels. But the plot is uninteresting and not a bit frightening. Fortunately, I can read all his old ones again. :-) I recommend for new readers: Strangers, Lightning, Dark rivers of the heart, Watchers.

Summary: Want thrill and excitment?! This is the book for you!
Review: This book has so much tensity and thrill. All the effects and details are wonderful. It is a very exciting book and is absolutely wonderful! Don't miss this book, Dean Koontz lovers(like myself.)

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Exciting page turner.
Review: I loved this book. This was my first time to read anything by Dean Koontz. I'm glad this was it. I really related to Chris Snow's humor. It was refreshing to see such a deep love between Chris and Sasha and the true friendship between Chris and Bobby. I also just finised the sequal "Seize the Night". I can't wait for another continuation of the "adventures of Chris Snow"!
