Summary: Flaggs IQ takes a leap
Review: Of course, the first thing I want of my chest is that the Dark Tower series rival the best books ever written. I think it even equals (more or less) Tolkiens Lord of the Rings. When reading the book I was captivated by Rolands 'little' memoires, but when they met Flagg I was sort of thrown of balance. I did not and still don't understand how Flagg did not have any recollection of his or anyones history in THE STAND but did have a complete memory and history in WIZARD AND GLASS. Still, It is an amazing book!!!! (any ideas on my problem, reply!)

Summary: Great book!
Review: I'd just like to say that I've read all of the Dark Tower books (took me 4 days) and I think that they're the best stuff King ever wrote. They call to mind "The Eyes of the Dragon" more than anything else, and are certainly a far cry from any of his other works (I've read those too). If anyone is considering reading this series, do so immediately if not sooner.

Summary: You can't put this one down. Edge of seat book
Review: This book gives you more insight into the mind of Roland. I found myself crying and laughing with Roland. Of all the 4 books, you must read this one to see the human side of the gunslinger. I loved it. The Dark Tower series are the best books that King has wrote and this one is the best of the 4.

Summary: Don't believe everything you read
Review: I always find it fascinating how, when a work of fiction comes out, there are people who want to tear it down. Sure, I can understand how people may take issues with this book. But to give it one star is to show a lack of understanding and comprehension of what it takes to tell a story. This chapter of the now-legendary Dark Tower series provides us with a NECESSARY background to the main character in the story. If you've never cared for character development, then this book is not for you. If you do care about what kind of circumstances are necessary to make a man as hardened as Roland is, then read on! King takes us through the childhood trials of Roland, and shows us how events can make even the most innocent of souls into hardened killers. This story is my favorite of the Dark Tower series thus far, and one of my favorite books of the last five years.

Summary: Just simply addiction.
Review: I can honestly say that I've never read a story that captivates me the way the Dark Tower series does. I find myself coming back to reread it again and again... This latest installment was a masterpiece of emotion. In the telling of a section of Roland's past, King not only keeps the macabre style that is his alone, but also tells a wonderfully archaic love story. His characters are so real that sometimes I have to remind myself that they're not. Please keep the books coming, Mr. King. I anxiously await the fifth.

Summary: A continuation of the best of King since The Stand
Review: This book opens up the world of Roland and the dark tower and only makes us want MORE! This series ties fantasy, science fiction and man's search for meaning in life and the universe (ka). King has again proven that he is more than a horror writer; he can make his readers think.(I also like his little trick of making references to his other works, via the trip into the "thinny").

Review: Mr. King, regretfully has become a better actor than author. His first works were wonderful detailed stories. Now his works are suitable for the funny papers or soap operas. On and on and on and on ad nauseatum

Summary: The addictive factor of Stephen King
Review: I had never really been a big Stephen King reader. The few things I had read by him were two short stories and The Stand. Then I got The Darktower series for Christmas and finally picked them up this summer and couldn't put them down. These novels are rich in imagery and symbolism. King paints great word pictures and none are wasted. Few other series' have been near as well written as this series. The only I can think of are Dan Simmons' Hyperion series and JRR Tolkein's Lord of the Rings series. Read it and be prepared to be full of awe and wonder. King draws you in and makes you wait with bated breath for the next page.

Summary: The BEST book, PLEASE DON"T MAKE US WAIT MR.KING
Review: This is the best book I have ever read. I love the fact it has to do with "Ka" and the way time is. Any one who likes Sci-fi would enjoy this book. I hope the next books come out soon!! I wonder if Roland will ever reach his tower.

Summary: Excellent continuation and background of his other three boo
Review: I really enjoyed this book. Although I am anxious about getting on with the story- as I feel we are just hanging there, we must respect Mr. King's work. He told us that taking up the tale of Roland has never been easy. I just hope that he will finish it soon!!!
