Summary: The brewing storm
Review: I actually thought this book was ok. I love the fact that it's THICK! lol. A lot of Charmed books are pretty thin, looking like they were rushed and so the authors just wrote whatever to get it done. The plot was good and since Daryll is used as a main character,it gets 4 stars.

Summary: One of the Best
Review: I am a huge fan of charmed and of the books and have read them all and am Proud to say that this one is one of the best ones wirtten. I loved how it followed the show exactly and how great it flowed along. I think it would really make a great episode. I loved that it was longer than most of the other charmed booka nd how it focused on each sister equally. I wou;d recommed this book to any charmed fan or non-charmed fan. I think you shoudl read all of them for ur self and not judge books by other peoples reviews, hope U enjoy!!!

Summary: This is the best Charmed book so far
Review: I felt that this book was really good!

Not only did they bring back Tyler, they also brought in 3 new characters: Windwalker, Waterbearer and Earthshaker. The four form the Elementals.

Darryl plays a huge role in this, and I thought that was good. I also enjoyed the twist at the very end-where he found out they needed the "Spirit" Elemental to complete the circle.

The Charmed Ones also had something to learn, that despite having magical powers, they still could lead very normal lives, juggling their careers; and this was good in showing that they're not invincible; at the end of the day they're still humans (well, half at least).

By the way, for those deluded people out there, Tempus is the time-manipulating demon, but the demon here is Tempest (which actually means 'storm'), so effectively Paul Ruditis did not make a mistake. In fact, he even emphasized that Tempus had been vanquished-go read the top of page 59.

Overall, I felt that this was a fantastic book, arguably the best, and deserved the 5 stars I gave it.

Summary: great book
Review: I haven't read a lot of the boks yet but i have seen almost every episode of the show and this book shows the characters and how they react to pressure. The Brewing Storm also is kind of a follow up on the episode where Tyler meets the Charmed Ones for the first time. I really like this book.

Summary: Somethings brewing...
Review: I really enjoyed this Charmed book. It is about strange weather which is brewing around San Franciso which is leading up to a ceremony of the elementals - earth, fire, wind and water.

After the firestarter is killed, Tyler a young kid is promoted to the ceremony. He ends up with the Charmed Ones and we get to see the mother come out in Piper as she tries to protect and look out for Tyler.

Daryl has quite a large role in this novel right up to the end. His job is to find the missing Tyler and keep the FBI away from the Halliwells.

A very face paced book with plenty of characters with spunk and attitude. The author has really gotten the sense of the TV characters and portrayed them very well.

A must read in the Charmed collection.

Summary: Love Charmed, didn't like Paul Ruditis' writing.
Review: I seem to be the minority as far as reviews go but I found Paul Ruditis' writing to be very choppy. And the characters personalities were off. Piper is not a mushy person, but Paul portrayed her as being very lovey and endearing to the child in this story. I remember when Piper's first son, Wyatt was born and how she felt she could not get close to him. That is not the type of woman who would be motherly to an 11 yr old child she doesn't know. I just had a hard time getting into the book. The writing didn't flow in my opinion and every character was far too sentimental and mushy for their true selves. The worst part in the whole book were the lame and ill-placed bouts of humor. It just didn't flow. I won't be buying another one of Paul Ruditis' works, I find them lacking in talent.

Summary: Darryl's Time To Shine
Review: In a story similar to The Fifth Element, a cataclysm may occur every hundred years. It is held off by the uniting of four elementals at a certain time and place. As the story opens, a Firestarter is being pursued by demons as he is to lead the elementals. As he is overcome, he knows his duties will pass to another.

Twelve-year-old Tyler, a Firestarter, has gone missing. In the mundane world, Darryl is assigned to the case, and soon finds himself tangled up with the charmed ones once again. The Charmed Ones quickly get drawn into events and strive to locate and unite the elementals while battling the minions of the demon Tempest.

The sisters split up to find the elementals while Darryl is protecting Tyler. The story moves forward nicely with little actual magic going on in most of it. In the end the Charmed Ones and the elementals must face Tempest himself while Darryl learns his true role in things. Although the title and the demon's name make one think of weather, it is really Earth forces at work as we also experience earthquakes.

This is one of the best Charmed books I have read. The character development was strong and pronounced, Darryl became far more three-dimensional and the whole thing read like it could have stood on its own and not just as a licenced title. If you like Charmed at all, you will really like this one.

Summary: author's need to watch series first
Review: ok. the book starts out with all types of weird weather happening in san francisco in one week. you name it they got it. (sounds like chicago). anyway the charmed ones find out that a 11 year old fire starter is missing that is also the one paige placed with adoptive parents. it turns out that tempest the demon needs four elementals for a ritual to rule the weather for all time. the charmed ones then enlist darryl's help and it is then a race against time to outwit tempest.

first, tempest is the demon who can control time, not the weather. big mistake on author's part. he definitely needs to watch the show. darryl plays a large role in the book which is really nice to see for a change. but the book drags a little too much for me. so i gave it 3 stars.

editors need to check to see that writers keep to storyline of show.(first season fianale would have had you laughing this one back to the author).

Summary: my fave charmed book so far!
Review: The Brewing Storm is one of my fave charmed books so far. The fact they bought in Tyler the fire starter from the show, and him and Piper still had their bond. But the fact they bought in the other elements really made it even more powerful.
I LOVED! the surpise twist at the end.

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: Sick of the books being like LOST EPISODES
Review: Tyler, the Firestarter, and the sisters batter power-absorbing demons as they try to locate the other Elementals (who are the only hope in stopping the crazy weather). If they fail, this could mean the end of everything. Darryl Morris also plays a major role as he helps protect Tyler while lying at work and at home-he knows the truth must be kept secret.

The story feels more like notes as it jumps from one character to another and comes to a rather anticlimactic conclusion. It doesn't really fit with what we have seen on television, either. One, Cole Turner never agreed to divorce Phoebe-he did everything he could to win her back.

This is the problem with releasing books a year or two after the television season they would have appeared in. These writers are not privileged to what the series plans to do, and they screw things up.

The book gets extra credit for using Darryl as a major player than just as a sidekick. But it still does not help much.
