Summary: A Mirror of This World
Review: Eerie is one way to describe this marvel of a book. The suspense of Jake coming over to Rolands world kept me turning the page night after night. The plaster man in the haunted mansion was so realistic,I could have been there reaching for the key to open the door to the other side. I cannot wait for number 4 so I can see how their fates are sealed. All in all an excellent book. I would highly recommend it for all you thrill seekers out there

Summary: Fantastic, Dramatic, and WAY too short!
Review: While the first two installments of the "Dark Tower" series were fantastic, the third soars to even greater heights of excellence. Rich, specific characters and descriptions of landscape so vivid that the mind's eye can visualize them perfectly, combined with the right amount of horror and suspense all combine to draw the reader into Roland's world; a world strikingly different, yet hauntingly familiar to our own. The reader leaves this story truly caring about the characters and anxiously awaiting the next installment. Will Jake be around for much longer? Will Roland ever meet his destination? What riddle will force Blaine to lighten up a a bit? Hopefully, some of these questions will be answered in the fourth installment, due out in August. I, for one, can hardly wait

Summary: Non-stop excitment to the very end
Review: The Waste Lands is the best part of the epic adventures of Roland and his group. The book is non-stop action from beginning to end. I highly recomend reading this book, and the other parts of the Dark Tower. This is with no doubt one of his best, and diserves a spot on Stephen Kings all-time greastest book list! The illistrations are nothing short of excelent and unique. Add this book to your collection, and you won't regret it

Summary: Stephen King is the perfect narrator for his works
Review: Please be aware that in the audio version of this book you're getting more than just a great story. You are getting the opportunity to hear the author, Stephen King narrate it. Though he is not, by his own admission, a "professional voice", he is a fantastic narrator that brings a very superb and special light to this book. If you're a fan of audio books or a fan of the Dark Tower series, and especially if you're a fan of both, you'll love this. It is great

Summary: King takes you into a realm that you never want to leave.
Review: The journey through The Waste Lands that I took with Roland, Eddie, Susannah and Jake was the most fascinating yet. The journey to the Dark Tower has taken us to many wonderful, but strange places. The loss of Jake was heart-breaking, getting him back was extremely joyeous, I really felt like I lost my own son at that point in time! Blaine the train is completely loco, no pun intended, and like King, brilliant. This epic poem has got to be the best that I have ever read, anxious doesn't even come close to explaining how much I want to delve into Wizard and Glass for the next experience. Once again Stephen King has proven to be, by far, the best storyteller ever and not just with horror novels, as The Dark Tower expidition takes all who read it beyond OUR wildest imagination and into his world

Summary: An addictive world you hope will never end
Review: With this third edition of the epic story of the Dark Tower, Stephen King shows us even more how much the fascinating world of Roland resembles our own. The Wastelands is an enthralling novel that, even in its dullest moments, is impossible to put down. You'll read the story, and live the adventure at the same time. The Wastelands, with the other two novels of the series, is King's most ambitious work, and possibly his best
