Summary: Marvelous Job, My Favorite Book In the World
Review: Once I saw the movie on TV, it was top on my list to read the book. THE COOLEST BOOK EVER. Suspense to the end. It is a great example of what peer-pressure can do to a person. P.S. I may be just a seventh grader, it definitely wasn't predictable!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: I think this book was partly realistic!
Review: The book took place at school. There were several students involved. The teacher, Mr. Griffin, was a hard teacher to pass. He was mean and rude to the students. So, the students planned to play a little trick on him. Their plan goes wrong, and now they're trying to hide everything from everyone. That plan doesn't work so well either.

I think this book was good if you don't like one or more of your teachers. Read this especially if you're looking to get revenge on one of them. It wasn't the best book I've ever read,, but it was interesting. It was, also, not anywhere near the worst. Read it and decide if you like it or not.

Summary: Killing Mr. Griffin is a very suspenseful book.
Review: Killing Mr. Griffin is a very suspenseful book. Lois Duncan is one of my favorite authors. PLEASE read all of her books. I almost have!!!!!

Summary: I liked Killing Mr. Griffin. It is one of Duncan's best.
Review: I think this suspense novel is a very great book by Lois Duncan. It is a very good book because it gets you so involved. You feel like you are there. I checked this book out at my school library, and I recommend to everyone to do the same. This book is definately worth reading. I would like to congratulate Lois Duncan on writing such a spectacular book.

Summary: Predictable
Review: This was not one of Duncan's best. The ending wasn't good at all. Most of the book was too predictable. Duncan has many great books and this isn't one of them. Anyone deciding if they should read this book should read something else by Duncan. Read something like Down A Dark Hall. That was a good book.

Summary: Way cool book!
Review: When I heard the great film "I Know What You Did Last Summer" was very loosely based on a novel by Lois Duncan, I sorta rushed to the bookstore to look for the book, only to find no Lois Duncan books but this. I read this, and I was immediately enticed by her terriffic characterization.

I chose this for my book report in, duh, English. Our English teacher sorta acted scared when she read the part that they killed their English teacher...that didn't matter, did it?

Read this if you want a terriffic book, but if you're more into slasher-flick types, then...try something else, but buy this just the same.

Summary: Killing Mr. Griffin
Review: I absolutely loved this book!!! Ever since my sister, Devona, told me about it! She read it a couple of times herself in 8th grade. I recently saw the t.v. movie with Mario Lopez from Saved by the Bell and i loved it, so i went out and got the book. I love Lois Duncan. I loved her since i read her book Whispers from the Dead. That's one of my favorites, too! I have never read anything with such a great author in years. I would love to meet the great Mrs. Duncan herself one of these days. In Killing Mr. Griffin, it's all about a bunch of High School kids whose abducting their english teacher goes all wrong. I liked the way they all tried to stick together and keep the secret. But in the end, they had to tell someone when they couldn't find his body. If one of the kids hadn't taken his pills, he probably would still be alive. Now, they have live with consequence of killing their teacher for the rest of their lives.

Summary: Definitely not a kid's book...
Review: I've read this book inumerable times and it is always chilling and deeply disturbing. It may be marketed as a kid's book, but the story has many psychological and emotional nuances that probably wouldn't be caught by the average middle-schooler. The ode to Ophelia at the end of the novel is particularly heart-wrenching (and memorable - I know it by heart, even to this day!).

Summary: I LOVED THIS BOOK!!!
Review: THIS BOOK IS REALLY GREAT!! I HIGHLY RECOMEND IT TO ANYONE WHO HAS IDEAS ABOUT KIDNAPPING A TEACHER, IT WILL CERTAINLY MAKE YOU THINK TWICE. IT'S VERY DETAILED AND REALLY MAKES IT SEEM AS IF YOU'RE RIGHT THERE IN THE BOOK.
