Summary: No real characters
Review: I felt as if this was just a wives' tale. Ann Rice needs more details and settings in her stories. I didn't connect with the characters. In short, I hated this elementary school story.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Pandora rekindles our love and interest in the Vampires.
Review: Once again, Anne Rice enthralls the reader into her world of Vampires. Pandora's story to David reveals some of the mystery behind the Chronicles and wonderfully sets the stage for Armand. Thanks Anne Rice for sharing the Gift. I have honeysuckles for your next visit to Seattle.

Summary: Finally, one worth reading
Review: After the last 2 disappointments from Ms.Rice,it's nice to see she is back to her best work. Pandora could have been a little longer, with a bit more action, but all in all it was an excellent read. Looking foreward to more in this series.

Summary: This was an outline? Wasn't it?
Review: Anne Rice needs to take some time off. Pandora reads like an outline for a book. And I suppose if it were fleshed out some, it would be a fine book. But I felt cheated. Also, Anne needs to start giving her characters more dimension and originality. It's starting be that you can predict what the book is going to be about and how the characters act. And that's too bad. Why a book about Pandora? It might as well been another Lestat story. I wish I could say I'm looking forward to "The Vampire Armand", but I'm afraid that it's going to be more of the same. Pandora was Lestat in female form. Nothing more. Give me Louis again. At least his angst about his lost mortality sets him apart from the other vampires. What happened to you Anne? Why the outline? And how could the publisher let this out? Hmmm..... could be the MONEY?

Summary: Finally,they return.
Review: I am gald Anne Rice has returned to a new series fo the Vampire Chronicles. But I would like to comment that although the book was mainly focused on Marius, many readers were looking forward to renewing themselves with Lestat, the anglo-saxon vampire whom we have fallen in love with.

Summary: Anne has proved she is still capable of great novels.
Review: Anne has brought back some of her old magic after numerous bad books. A good book but way too short. I have hope for her next book, The Vampire Armand. Please don't dissapoint me Anne!

Summary: total disappointment
Review: Pandora lacks the zeal which is usually found in the other Vampire Chronical novels. The excitement level in this book is extremely low and the plot goes absolutely nowhere. All I got from this book was a damned history lesson. What would have improved the book would be to include her relationship to the vampires Azim and Santigo. The was an extreamly dissapointing novel when it had so much potential. All we read about is Marius,Marius, Marius! So what. Bring back Lestat...please!

Summary: She's back in Buiness
Review: After Servant of the Bones I thought Anne was falling down the drain. I was wrong. I picked up Pandora and couldn't put it down. The book is full of wonderful imagery that places you in the times of the ancient world. A spellbinding storie to take the chronicles of once again. Now I just can't wait for Armand to be released.

Summary: Anne Rice is still the master storyteller.
Review: I am really happy that Anne Rice decided to continue her Vampire Chronicles. For a while, I thought that Memnoch, the Devil would be the last of the Vampire Chronicles. But all of Rice's fans would have notice that her latest book is really short compared to her other books. I really hope that her next book about Armand would be the same as to her old books. I also hope that she would bring Lestat back to the story. All in all, Pandora is still great, but I feel that she had made ending too soon.

Summary: GREAT!!!!!!!
Review: This book is very important to the whole series of Vampire Chronicles. It gives you the whole story of Pandora's life, which is very briefly mentioned in The Vampire Lestat and The Queen of the Dammed. I loved reading about Pandora and how she and Marius met. This book answered alot of questions I had about Pandora and Marius. I advise anyone who has read any of Rice's vampire books(or even if you have not)to read this.
