Rating: Summary: I am here Review: Some day, I will meet you and you will look into my eyes and know that what you read through Ms. Rice's books has not even scratched the surface. We are out here, living among you. I do wish that my own particular life could be spelled out with more vibrato and detail. Love, Pandora
Rating: Summary: completely awesome! Review: I've read allmosst every Anne Rice book there is to read, especially the vampire chronicles. but this one far excedes the rest. i luved it! and still do! every free weekend i get, i pick it up, and read it in a matter of hours. it can't be put down! i deffinately recomend it to any true anne rice fans! :)
Rating: Summary: I loved it! Review: After I read The Vampire Armand (and didn't like it lots!) I thought this book was going to be like The Vampire Armand and be a little boring at the beginning, but it wasn't, I thought it was a great story and was very much fun to read, I read it in two days! ~*Stacy*~
Rating: Summary: Fantastic!! Review: This was by far one of her best works Mrs. Rice has done a great job in again turning to her vampire characters to bring her another bestseller an I look forward to reading her new book.
Rating: Summary: Guilty Pleasure Review: Call it a guilty pleasure--but I loved this book. Okay, to be fair, I loved the audiobook. It's read by a woman whose British accent, although perhaps incongruous with the action, made the book a pleasure to listen to! And the story was wonderfully meaty and riveting. Although written in Ricean prose (overwrought and flowery) Read's British narration as Pandora helped balance this out, and make it an incredibly fun listen.
Rating: Summary: The Vampire Chronicles takes a detour... Review: Mistakingly, I read The Vampire Armand before this title. However, I found it somewhat shocking and graphic, but you must expect that it comes with the genre. This was a fine example of fiction, and deserves its place next to the rest of Chronicles. I recommend this to Rice fans,
Rating: Summary: Must read!!!!! Review: Not as captivating as the previous books, but still a grsat book!!
Rating: Summary: HISTORICALLY AMAZING......I COULDN'T PUT IT DOWN!!!! Review: I have read all of the Vampire Chronicles and this is the first I was truly upset to finish. This was a short sequel but should have been a true novel. I read it in less than 24 hours...a first at this as well for me. If you are a true fan of Anne's then you will truly love the brilliant use of History in this book that gives you the insight of Pandora's life in Rome and her ability to try to be an independant woman in Rome. You will also enjoy her relationship with Marius before and after the dark gift.
Rating: Summary: What a great book, what else is there to say? Review: I havent read all of "Pandora" yet, but so far, im amazed! This book has got to be, so far, one of Rice's best! I loved it! Im speechless!
Rating: Summary: Perhaps Rice's best book in years Review: Anne Rice returns to the topic she does best, vampires. After reading the disappointing "Violin", it is comforting to know that she can still tell the timeless story of a creature that evokes fear in the hearts of millions. In her true Southern Gothic style of writing, she creates for her readers a world that is easy to get lost in. The realism she applies to her city is undeniable. Few writers can create a world where a vampire is one of the sexiest and most stunning characters. Kudos to Anne.
