Summary: Facinating!!!
Review: A twisted, bazaar tale that captivates you from the beginning through the end! Masterful characters! Loved It!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: An intricate and alluring horror/suspense/thriller.
Review: Although I thoroughly enjoyed Dean Koontz' novel, "Dark rivers of the heart", I find "The Bad Place" to be both creative and exciting. The supernatural element in this story creates a delusion of a reality that may or may not exist. Who really knows? I was pleasantly surprised and truly thrilled with some of the unexpected turn of events in this story. This story cleverly combines horror, suspense and fantasy.

Summary: This is my absolute favorite Koontz book
Review: I've read just about all his books, and The Bad Place is by far one of the most bizzar and exciting books I have ever read. If you like to be taken to places of another demension, The Bad Place will take you there in such a way you loose yourself to reality. It's comparable to Stephen King/Peter Straub's "The Tailisman" only it's NOT a "fairy tale". It's a none stop thriller that is impossible to put down.

Summary: Read this one and you will be a die hard Koontz fan for life
Review: The Bad Place was the first Koontz I had ever read back in 1991. After reading this book, I haven't been able to buy anything else but Koontz. He is the master storyteller! If your a first time reader, DON'T MISS THIS ONE

Summary: The book to start with.
Review: A friend recommended that I read this book thinking that I might enjoy it. Boy was she wrong. I loved it and could not put it down once I started it. The characters were well developed, including the non-human characters, and I could actually feel like I was right there with them. This book launched me into reading other books of Dean Koontz and now I have every one of his books that it in paperback. This book is a guaranteed good read from beginning to end

Summary: wow!
Review: The Bad Place has it all - characters we like and root for, the evil villan we fear can't be stopped and a finale that leaves us breathless. One of Koontz's wildest rides - hold on tight! I recommend this one.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Better sleep with the lights on!
Review: This book sold me on Koontz; although, I must say some of his later contributions disappointed. I read this beginning in the soft shadows of twilight and finished early in the morning. I had to sleep with the lights on. What better kudo can you give to a horror novel

Rating: 5 stars
