Rating: Summary: Excellent Review: I have read almost all of Dean Koontz's works and am always looking for new ones. But no matter which one I read, THE BAD PLACE will always be my favorite. The minute I picked it up, I couldn't put it down. It is fast-paced and spellbinding. This is the only book I have read that I have also reread more than once.
Rating: Summary: You have got to read this book! Review: The Bad Place goes where you least expect it to go. It is chock full of unexpected twists and turns. Sometimes I would laugh out loud just to imagine what kind of mind can come up with this stuff. It is scary, creepy, mysterious, emotional...everything in one package.

Rating: Summary: Very good but a little slow in parts Review: Dean Koontz "The Bad Place" was a very good book. I would reccomend it to anyone who likes to try and figure out what is going on before the book tells you. Because you might have an idea but chances are with this book you will not unravel the whole story. The only thing I didn't like was that it go a little too explanitory when it came to tell about Candy. I often found myself skimming and not actually taking in everything that was written because it was getting off the pace the book was intended to take. But, if I was asked if I would reccomend it I would have to say yes. It is very exciting and the end is great!!!
Rating: Summary: NON-STOP THRILLER Review: The book was great, right from the first page. This was the first Koontz novel I ever read. Now I am trying to get as many as I can. I love the introduction of new, interesting characters, and how they all came together at the end. The discribtions of all the places and events were so vivid. I actually felt as if the book were swallowing me, and I was witnessing everything that was taking place. Before reading this book, I did not like to read at all. The problem was I could never find anything to keep my interest. Now I look forward to going home and reading. I thought this book was exceptional. I recommend it to anyone looking for a good thrill.
Rating: Summary: I didn`t put this book down nor my coffee for 3 days. Review: I think this is one of the best books written by anyone in a very long time. It keeps you going with the desire to know how it`s going to turn out. I would recommend this book to any one that likes books of this kind. You won`t stop reading it till your finished. Thanks Dean.
Rating: Summary: SPELLBINDING! Review: This book is a fast paced race through fear. It touches the human emotions on many levels and does more than thrill and excite or horrify and chill it stimulates the mind on all levels. It is a unique story, unlike anything I have over read. Don't ever look this one!Probably my all-time favorite, though it is so hard to say since I love all of his books! Dean, you're fantastic!
Rating: Summary: This is where it all started. Review: This is the first Dean Koontz book that I read, and got me to be one of his biggest fans. If you are considering reading a Koontz novel this is a great one to start with. He will keep you in suspense with his masterful stoty telling. You won't put it down. You will be afraid of the bad place too!
Rating: Summary: A DEFINITE MIND BLOWER!! Review: Of all of Mr. Koontz's books that I have read (and that's just about all of them), this is by far the best. I felt I was right there with the characthers (and thankful my name wasn't "Pollard"). I have read this book so many times that it is falling apart and I will soon have to replace it. "Phantoms" made me start reading Mr. Koontz's books; "Dark Fall" got me hooked; "The Bad Place" made me a fan for life. This is must reading for everyone.
Rating: Summary: from a writers point of veiw........ Review: This is the book that made me into an avid Dean Koontz reader. I never though that a book could actually keep me up at night, wondering if a terrifying creature like Candy was lurking within the shadows of my closet. This book took me to places-bad places that i never wanted to venture in before. But for all the horrors, and all the grotesque scenes I invisioned, in the end I was .......horrified yet invigorated, disgusted yet intranced, and waiting patiently in line for the movie. Koontz, you are a god in the world of macob thrillers and I, as a author, give you my uttmost praise and awe. Thank you for the late-night frights.
