Summary: Best so far
Review: This is one of the only books that I've ever read that made me shiver, think, and want to cry all at the same time. After reading it, I wanted to force the book to make more pages so I could follow the characters as they continued their lives. I think its the best. I'll be reading it twice.

Summary: Way too long!
Review: This is the first King book I've ever read and quite honestly, it was about 300 pages too long! I truly had to push myself to finish "Bag of Bones," because there were just WAY too many minute details dragging it down. But, if you can push past that (and don't mind taking two or three weeks to finish the book), it is an enjoyable read.

Summary: Un-guessable ending
Review: Refreshingly new novel with a spine chilling story line that keeps you turning those pages. A change from his normal stories in that this one is plausable and doesn't get nasty till you've bonded with the victim.

Summary: A more gentle King, I recommend this one to my girlfriends.
Review: The past few King books were extremly gruesome. I almost gave up on my favorite author. Bag of Bones was a book I could not put down.Thank you Mr. King and I wish you well.

Summary: I think this book is one of the greatest!!!!!!!!
Review: I love to read and Stephen King is one of my favorites and I like that he puts a twist into his work. He truly is one of the greatest horror and suspense authors there is. I would recommend this book and any others that he has wrote.

Summary: fabulous
Review: After having read everything that Mr.King had written (or published), from "Carrie" through "The Tommyknockers", I chose a respite, lest I become weary of his "genre".

My "vacation" from Stephen King lasted for a longer period than I might have imagined, but a few weeks ago I found myself selecting a copy of "Bag of Bones" from a rack of paperbacks. I devoured it in "record time" and was infinitely thrilled and satisfied throughout.

God bless this man. He is a genius.

Summary: Classic King
Review: Yes, classic King : An unnecessarily long, drawn out story that keeps you turning the pages, leaving you breathing a huge sigh of relief weeks or even months later when you finally manage to finish it and read something else less tedious. Personally, I put the book on hold halfway through, to read Anne Rice's "Interview with a Vampire". Now THERE's a story King would sell his soul to write!

Summary: A Good Read for Rainy Nights
Review: Having read most of Stephen King's works, I felt that this is one of his better books...not quite as good as "The Stand", but almost. I liked the fact that he was not as gruesome in this book as he has been in some of his others. Once he started developing his ghosts' characters, the book was more interesting. As always, King is a little too wordy. I read "Rebecca" after this book and it was fun to draw comparisons in suspense development. This book has one of King's better plot developments. I can see why it won the Edgar Award.

Summary: One of Stephen King's best!
Review: Bag of Bones turned out to be one of my favorite Stephen King books. Although it did take a while to pick up some steam (give it a good 50 pages before giving up on it!), once King got into his groove with this book, it had everything someone can look for. It had a great ghost story, wonderful imagery and a sexy, heartwarming love story. I didn't want it to end!

Summary: Could Not Put it down!!
Review: I have never really been able to get into reading, but after reading the first few chapters offered on the internet, I had to have the book. I started reading and I couldn't put it down. I have seen all of the movies based on his books, which I have enjoyed, but if all of Stephen Kings books are this good, I will be reading alot more. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS BOOK!!!! It made me cry, it made me laugh, it even made me scared to be in the dark, it had it all. I would recommend this book to anyone.
