Rating: Summary: READ ALONE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!! Review: Stephen King has created a twisted tale of supernatural that will leave you spellbound. A frightning tale of a family trapped in a hotel resort, where evil lurks around every corner. A wonderful feel for the characters and a too real setting, proves why King is the master of storytelling. If a horror fan, your a fool to pass this one up
Rating: Summary: great. Review: This was the scariest novel I have read and personally my favorite of his books.
It gave me nightmares 6 nights in a row! I couldn't stop reading it until it was over. There should be more books like this on the market
Rating: Summary: Kept me up for hours!!! Review: This is one of Stephen King's finest works to date. I've never been more thrilled or scared by a book before. I wouldn't recommend this to someone with heart problems!!!!
Rating: Summary: Second Best only to IT Review: Until IT was published, The Shining was by far my favorite.
It made a wonderful story perfectly suited to a movie. And
then there was the movie...booooo. I hear King's reissuing
the movie...great. King is the most versatile author in the
U.S. ever. His styles are legendary, his books compelling.
Hooray for S.K.

Rating: Summary: Absolutely the BEST Review: I have read all of Mr. Kings book's, and this is by far my
all time favorite book.
Rating: Summary: The greatest, a classic Review: Stephen King's classic is one of his best. He never fails
to surprise me. His imagery and blood-pumping story in The
Shining kept me in a trance until I read the last page. A
great book for any one looking for a thrill
Rating: Summary: This book is terrifying. You can't put it down. Review: I sat in bed everynight looking behind me after every
sentence. This book is wonderful, but it really takes a true horror fan without nerves to read this book and not be
pertrified. This is the best book I've read in a while and I am
a constant reader. King's description is magnificant and King knows where he's going with this one. All you need to
do is look at the picture of King on the back of the book to know it will be great, King is a troubled looking man, and he
sure made this book fit his image. I recommend this book
for begginning King readers. He really makes a great first impression
Rating: Summary: Wow! You'll be to scared to put the book down! Review: Stephen King, The master of horror tells the story of a young family of three who take the loneliest job in the world... Winter caretakers for an isolated hotel with a very colorful hystory. The father, trying to avoid the bottle, the wife trying to be supportive and their 5 year old son. Danny is not a normal 5 year old however... He shines! He has the power to feel people's thoughts and to project his own thoughts into other minds... But Danny sees more then thoughts in the hotel, he sees other gruesome scenes from the hotel's history... Blood from a Mafia shoot out, dead people seeking revenge... But they are not real... They can't hurt you... That's what his friend the cook told him... But powered by Danny's extraordinary abilities... Who Knows... The hotel will do anything in its powers to get Danny's powers, including turning his close ones against him! Stephen King's writing is diffrent... The beggining of the book is very slow... But when the situation gets dirty... He's the master of suspense! Read this book with your back to the wall... You never know what might crawl up from behind you...
