Rating: Summary: laurell k. hamilton's books are the greatest ive ever read Review: i've read a lot of books, and i must say that ms. hamilton's are the best!! they have everyone living side by side, and it makes for some interesting story lines. she has the good the bad and the not so smart. i love anita's personality, and am always waiting for the next book to come out.
Rating: Summary: This book is great!!!! Review: Laurall K. Hamilton did a great job making the story line interesting. She has great ideas on what other people like to read. Most of all the books were a great source of entertainment, and I really liked Jean-Claude.
Rating: Summary: Lycanthrope Nirvhana! Review: I found it a pleasure that the series didn't always focus on vampire dealings. I also like fringe characters getting a bigger slice of the action. The pack society is fascinating, and Ms. Hamilton doesn't present the new information in a pedantic manner. I knew she was stoking us up for the climactic conflict against Raina and her ilk in the next book. Loved it, loved it, loved it!
Rating: Summary: A great book to read on a quiet, dark night! Review: This was one of the if not the greatest book I've ever read! It combines witty humor with the blood and gore of a traditional horror story. A good book if you like graphic depictions and harsh revenge.
Rating: Summary: A welcome addition to Fantasy series novels Review: Laurell Hamilton offers a sardonic female perspective to the world of the supernatural. The novels heroine is hardbitten and uncompromising but manages to show enough humanity that the reader can still identify her as human. For that matter, it is easy to identify with most of the "monsters" in the book as well. Perhaps the author seeks to remind us how much of the monster lurks within us all. The book is fast paced and gripping without going off on too many tangents. Take P.N. Elrod and Glen Cook, then throw in a dash of Stephen Brust and you have Laurell K. Hamilton. She is a welcome addition to the established ranks of the genre.
Rating: Summary: Wow! Review: This book is definitely a must read. I had a hard time putting it down. Laurell Hamilton knows how to put just the right amout of romance, mystery and fantasy together to create a story that flows from the first to last pages.
Rating: Summary: Really addictive! Review: Ms. Hamilton's Anita Blake series is fun, scary, wrenching, exciting and deliciously kinky! I'm up to Lunatic Cafe, my favorite so far. I just love watching these characters develop - a real tour de force!
Rating: Summary: I LOVED THIS BOOK!!! Review: I love how Hamilton sends you on a crazed journey, and somehow makes you unable to put the book down!
Rating: Summary: Not Hamilton's best. Review: This was not one of her better books in this series. Although I do like the fact that things finaly came to a head with Richard and Jean-Claude. I like her tough as nails exterior. This one was the same in that I read it in almost 1 sitting. Not one of her bests, but wonderful all the same!!!
Rating: Summary: Another winner! Review: I couldn't put this down. I usually gobble up every book in this series, and The Lunatic Cafe was no exception. It is quite interesting to see Anita struggle not only with the problem of the missing lycanthropes, but also struggle with her wereworld boyfriend and his vampire competition. A must read.
