Summary: Beautiful
Review: King is amazing in this series. For sure he has written tripe before, but this series is perhaps the best work of fiction to appear in thirty years. He has captured the essence of the Western romance and distilled it into Roland, the Gunslinger. Roland's world is unbelievably detailed, and the people who live in it are flawless in many faults, thanks to King's portrayal of them.

I think it is time we studied the Gunslinger in our schools and put it in every hotel room.

Summary: Excellent work by an excellent author.
Review: Stephen King is one of my favorite authors - and the Dark Tower series is some of the most fantastic writing to be found anywhere. Nearly every review here at Amazon for these books has been positive... and the books deserve it. Try them, you'll like them.

Summary: NO WORDS CAN DESCRIBE THIS INCREDIBLE SERIES
Review: I love all of Stephen Kings books. His writting has fascinated me for years. I never wait for paperback editions. All his books have enthralled me. But this series has just captivated me. I have read it twice and will read it again and again. It is with constant anxiousness that I await the next in the series. I don't think I will ever want it to end. I hope that we don't have to wait as long for the next book as we did for Book 4.

Summary: Some of the best books I have ever read.
Review: This series of books are the story following Roland of Gilead on his qest to reach the Dark Tower. The series follows with more books which will also be bestsellers in their time. The way that these books are written is a totally new method compared to his other books, and the imagination that this man has is extraordinary. I have already reccomended these books to any of my friends and they all share the same thoughts as I.

It's a struggle to find the patience to wait for the next books in the series!

Summary: VERY GOOD
Review: Stephen King has done it again!! The Gunslinger is a brilliant work of fantasy/fiction. King has stepped out of the realm of horror and has tried something new. I throuroghly enjoyed this book.

The only problem is that it is such a long read! Very descriptive.

So be forewarned, if you are not into descriptive books, don't read this!!

Summary: Masterpiece. King's legacy after he dies!
Review: This is by far King's greatest work. Whereas the rest of his books, for the most part, have been pop fiction horror novels, this book is an epic. It tells the tale of a man on a quest towards a massive power that he cannot even comprehend. A man with the fate of the universe resting on his shoulders. It is comparable to The Lord of The Rings in scale, but surpasses JRR Tolkiens works on many levels. The book reads like a surreal dream that you never want to wake up from, and after you do, you will never forget it.
