Summary: I can not wait for the nex Dark Tower book.
Review: I have read all four books in the Dark Towers series. I have not read the short story put out in the book with all the other authors, I will get around to it. Because in little piece is better than nothing at all. I can not believe what a roller coaster ride these four books have taken me on. And the other people I know who has enjoyed the story as much as I have about the Dark Tower. I would want to see a final conclusion on this I want to know I need to know does he make it to the Tower does the world begin to turn around. Will Roland some how save us from the Man in Black? I need to know this I wish there was a way to go and knock on Mr. King's door and ask him to start the final chapter in this. The Wizard and the Glass was my favorite book out of all four books, it really tied a lot of things together. They all have a special place in my heart, all four books. Mr. King get to work your fans can no longer wait.

Summary: Wanting More!!!
Review: I have fallen hard for this series! King is a master. His use of bits and pieces of "our" world provides a chilling touch. I know a lot of people did not like the "Wizard of Oz" touch, but I found it to add to the mystic that can only be Stephen King. He takes something that we are all familiar with, then twists it, gives it new dimension and makes it his own. I reread the first 3 books and then read this one all in a matter of 4 days. I can hardly wait for the next book! (although my family probably hopes it won't be out for a while yet) Please, Stephen, publish the next one! We're dying out here! Your writing is superb and makes me want to be a part of Roland's Ka-tet! Onward to the Dark Tower Mr. King! Onward! (very soon!)

Summary: Foaming at the mouth for the next in the series!
Review: This series is outstanding!!!! True King fans love it, and I think it's an interesting change for those who may not care for King's normal "horror" genre. Bits and pieces of this masterpiece are hinted at in many of King's other books,a nice "inside joke" for King's Constant Reader. This series grabbed me and would not let go! I've read them all at least twice and like the header says, I'm foaming at the mouth for the "Wolves of Calla" to come out. This is a beautiful set and a series that could be as much of a fantasy classic as the likes of The Lord of the Rings trilogy. HIGHLY ADDICTIVE! Once you read the first page of just one in this series you'll be compelled to read every one of them!

Summary: Good genre mixture with great and tragic characters.Loved it
Review: Nothing King has written is more gripping than Roland's quest for the Dark Tower. Each time I read these books, now including Wizard and Glass,I am more and more drawn in. Most exciting among the things I liked is the way time is no longer constant in the world, and is actually unravelling it. I LOVE that. It is Roland's sole purpose to right the world and restore the Tower. Will he reach the Tower? Even King himself is unsure. The books are filled with wery interesting references to our world, and obscure "otherworlds". Also expect to find cool concepts of physics, great action scenes, and a few things that will make you sit there and wonder: Now why in the hell did he(King) do that!? The whole series is wery different from King's writing norm, but they are still wery classic King. It is also exciting to understand that he believes the Dark Tower world spawned his other books, that the Dark Tower was there first. That's my own interpretation of the afterword in Wizard and Glass, I may be wrong. Read these books, and they will take you away. Sounds cheesy, but that's the facts , jack! These books are absolutely GREAT!!

Summary: The Dark Tower draws more than Roland and his friends
Review: The Dark Tower series is amazing. There is no better way to put it. King uses colorful descriptions to hold the reader captivated as he does in all his books. This wonderful combination of fantasy, science fiction, and modern times creates an ongoing story that the reader will never be able to put down. In short, I Love this series, and it will stand as my all time favorite. Although it would be difficult to choose, I would pick "Wizard and Glass," as the best book so far. Roland's love story is the main reason I felt obliged to read the entire series a second time. I wait in anticipation of the fifth book.

Summary: This seriers was completely spell binding. I was entranced.
Review: From the moment I opened to the first page of "The Dark Tower Series", I was hypnotized and a willing prisoner of Kings fantasy. I loved each one, up until I reached the last page of "Wastelands". At this point I said something off-color and threw the book across the room. I couldn't believe that I would have to patiently wait for the next in the series. Well, it has been several years and many many books later, and my wish is finally being granted. The next book has been completed. During this frustrating time of waiting, my main concern was the Mr. Stephen King would suffer a horrible accident and die before he could complete the series. Not only would the world have lost a great author, but I would have gone insane from not knowing the conclusion of this magical series. My family can finally breathe a sigh of relief since I wont be a nervous reck over not being able to grasp this book in my impatient hands

Summary: The Gunslinger
Review: I was hook on the Gunslinger back in 1984, but was only able to find 2 of the series and only in paperback. I have been a fan of Stephen King since I was in the U.S. Army bootcamp. I have been checking every now and then to find the rest. Thanks to Amazon I've order the entire series and in hard bound.

Summary: A must read; pleasantly addictive.
Review: This series is the quite possibly Stephen King's greatest work! I've read the first four books in the last week; drugs are not nearly as addictive as the Dark Tower Series. I've definitely have becom a "TOWER JUNKIE". Do yourself a favor and buy this now; your only disappointment will be having to wait for the release of the next book.
