Summary: It left me with an eerie feeling
Review: This was one amazing work. I have to tip my hat to Mr. King. If you do decide to pick this novel up before the seeing the film, (I hope you do because the novel's are usually much finer than the film) then stick with it, for it will haunt you in a way few of his other novels have haunted me after I closed the cover for the final time. It made me feel like, and I'm not ashamed to say this, cry. For a not too aparent reason.

Summary: Compelling, suspenceful on the edge of your seat reading
Review: I've been reading Stephen King novels since I was a teen-ager and I've got to say this was one of his best! The way he made you wait between installments was great. It gave you something to look forward to.I would recomend this book to any one who loves a good mystery.

Summary: One of the best books I have ever read
Review: Okay, I'm really not one for hyperbole, but this book was truly fantastic. I wouldn't classify it as a "horror" novel, even though there are some parts that will cause your heart to race. Sad, funny, wondorous - this book will make you love literature again (it did for me).

Summary: It was a very hauting book.
Review: I really enjoyed the Green Mile. I part that I like the most was the story of the Two Dead Girls. It kept me on my toes. I enjoy most of the writtings done by Stephen King. I think this is one that he worked a while....

Summary: "The Green Mile" was a truly moving experience.
Review: This was the first Stephen King novel I have ever read and I was extremely impressed. It had me in tears at the end and I don't cry over a lot of modern fiction that I read (because I don't read a lot of modern fiction, preferring non-fiction, history in particular). But, I thought I'd read it since I heard that Tom Hanks will be starring in the film version and I LOVE Tom Hanks!! Well, what a corker!! It was one of the best reads I've ever had. The characters were beautifully described and the pace never let up - I just zoomed through it in no time. I hope the movie does justice to this compelling book (anything with Tom Hanks has to be good, though) and I intend reading it again just before I see the film.

Summary: King's best!
Review: I've read a lot of King's books despite the fact that more often than not they're disappointing. But The Green Mile is by far his best novel, in fact one of the best I've ever read. I can't wait for the movie; if it's even half as good as The Shawshank Redemption (my all-time favorite!) I'll be very pleased.

Summary: I am not a big Steven King fan, but this was sensational!!
Review: After reading the 6 volume series I was elated. I thought it would make a great movie. I am so excited to hear that it is being made into a movie with Tom Hanks as the lead. If Hollywood sticks to the story without deviation, this could be King's best movie yet!!!
