Summary: An Inigma wrapped in a Mystery"
Review: I read "The Green Mile" for my senior english class. This is one of the best books I've read in a long time! The charecters are so well described that I really can see them in my mind and feel like I know them personally. Every scene and plot twist drags the reader deeped into the terrifying world of E block. The only thing that I didn't like was the constant use of the "n-word" but I also understand that it was to help add to the realness of that time period. Although the language is a little rough, I would definately reccommend this book to a freind.

Summary: a less than exciting novel
Review: I found the book to be extremely redundant. It did paint a good mental movie, but rambled on too much for my liking. If you like a good ending in a book I would not suggest reading this Stephen King novel.

Summary: The green mile another Stephen King thriller
Review: My opinion on this book is that it is probally the ,(no it is ) the best book I've ever read in my life. The whole story is just great. The setting on death row is great. My favorite character has to be Delacriox the way he uses broken french mixed in with bad English. The way King writes how life is like o n death row you almost forget that thease guys are convicted killers. You start to take their sides over the gaurds , then you feel bad when they are executed. John Coffey is a great character he is so mysterious, from his first day on the mile till his last. You find out what crime he did but thats all you find out about his past, and that is perfect cause it leaves your imagination open to figure the rest out.

Summary: Best novel I've read in a while
Review: I have read this book and in my opinion this is one of his best works. In school the teacher has us read boring novels but for once he has chose a good one. This is the novel he chose, and almost everyone in the class enjoyed reading this. Even people in my class that normaly wouldn't read a whole book actually read this one and enjoyed it as well.

Summary: The plot was very SWANK!!!!
Review: It was very creative. It made you want to read more and more. The way he narratored the story with the present and flashback view was very swank. Stephen King took a mouse and incorporated it into a huge part into this story. He also twisted a little of his religion and morals into into this story and made it more interesting. After reading this in my Senior English class for the great and mighty Mr. Jamison, I would definetly recommend this book to you.

Summary: I wrote how the book was best i have ever read.
Review: I thought that the Green Mile was a great book. I really thought the way Stephen King used the JC thing was really cool. I know that other authors have used that also but, the way stephen King did it, it was amazing. My reasons for that is just that It made the book so good. ALso, it was definitely the best book I ever read. I read this book inside and out. I really understood it. The way Stephen King made us kinda like the criminals was really cool. I mean, people that are in prison for killing people and we are liking them. That really made it have that little twist. The book was kinda a mystery. You had to figure out if John Coffey really killed those girls and it just was the best book I have ever read in my entire life. I recommend it to anyone that likes books or even doesnt like books. When the book was done I was hoping there was another book or atleast another chapter. I totally didnt want it to end. But It did. And it was great. I still think about the book. SO I really recommend it and It was the greatest book in the world.

Summary: The best Stephen King book around.
Review: Out of all the books I read in my English class, this is probably the best book I have ever read. I will give it a ten, hell a ten plus, or a ten plus plus even. I felt that I'm Paul Edgecomb. I'm the one who is the head supervisor on E block. I felt that John Coffey touched my groin to heal my urine infection. I felt like I made intimate sexual intercourse with my wife Jan all the way through the darn book. And I've seen Del fried in Old Sparkey like an over done KFC chicken, and I felt the pain of Jan's death. This book made it come alive. It is actually that good that I recommend anyone who is a Stephen King finnatic to read this book
