Summary: Great Storyline!
Review: Three words come out of my mouth when I hear about The Green Mile... I loved it! It had great characters, storylines, and one of the best authors around,Stephen King.I disagree whole-heartedly with other reviewer because this book is not just for adult readers.Young adults can enjoy it too. I did.

Summary: Phenom
Review: I was not much of a Stephen King fan until I read this book. Absolutely amazing.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A book worthy of tears, laughter, and analysis
Review: I always say, Stephen King is highly under-rated. How could a man consistently persecuted as a writer of dumbed-down literature produce such a story? It was wrought with humanity, beauty and the kind of pain and joy that is often untouchable. Words cannot express what this story will bring to your mind, and cannot touch upon the warped ways we often miscalculate the power of the human spirit. You must read this book.

Summary: A Pinnacle
Review: In my opinion this is King's finest work...at once chilling and enthralling...King doesn't go for the gore factor here but uses imagery to mind paint the scenes and set up a story that can melt even the stodgiest heart. Although parts of the story were predictable, the fact that it played out that way, instead of having the heart ripped out of ones hopes, is particularly satisfying. The first story of King's that touched my emotions (other than the ones that have me leaving the lights on at night).

Summary: Very Interesting book... makes you think.
Review: It started out slowly... but became a book I couldn't put down till I finished.

Summary: Absolutely Wonderful
Review: This book truely shows why King is one of the greatest authors of this century. A truely great story that I will read over and over again in the future.

Summary: The best of 90s King, not so much horror as thriller.
Review: "The Green Mile" was excellent, better than anything else King has done in the 1990s. And like most of King's other 90s works, "Dolores Claiborne," "Rose Madder" and "Gearld's Game," for example, the story is not so much rooted in horror and fantasy as it is suspense and thrills. This more than anything else makes the book refreshing and an absolute joy to read! The character's in this 6-part, serialized novel are also very well developed (of course) and interesting enough to have a book dedicated to EACH of them! Paul Edgecombe, Percy, Brutal, Delecroix, John Coffey (like the drink, except spelled different) and more, WOW! I will not give away the story because it's just to good, and with the film coming out Dec. 17th starring Tom Hanks it'd be ludicrous to even contemplate doing so! READ THIS, IT EVEN BEATS SOME OF KING'S EARLIER 70s/80s work! You won't be disapointed with the contemporary "cheeseburger and fries novelist," who churns out a real literary winner here! 4 1/2 stars.

Summary: Its perfect and amazing!
Review: Actualy I'd rate this book with 4,5 stars. Why? Because of parts 2 and 3. They could go on a little faster. Just a very tiny bit. Anyway, this prison psichology was well crafted. Again - book full of the powerful imagination of S.K. You should read it. Probaly not a book for small kids:))) o:) Anyway, luv ya for spending your valuable time on reading stuff I've written :o) READ THIS BOOK and READ evertyhing else written by STEPHEN KING. You won't be disappointed!

Summary: "It was the most moving book I've read in years..."
Review: Stephen King has finally done it. He moved me to tears...not from being terrified...but from the absolute beauty and depth of this book. The way he created John Coffey, and made the reader realize that there's so much truth in the saying that "not everything is what it seems", was fantastic. I think everyone could learn something from this!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: This is Kings best novel yet
Review: This book is so well written that you develop actual feelings about every character. The development and plot is excellent, and there are enough action scenes to keep most people satisfied.
