Review: This novel is perhaps one of the best I have read in a long time. Stephen King has an uncanny way of capturing your emotions and painting a clear picture with his words. By reading the book I have already seen the "picture". I recommend this novel to anyone that wishes to ride an emotional "rollercoaster". You'll feel Paul Edgecombe's remorse and John Coffey's innocence as if you knew them personally.

Review: This was a excellent book don't get me wrong, but i guess I was excpecting a little more. I wasn't pulled into the book like I expected. I still believe in capital punishment despite the book. I live in Texas, they kill anyone for anything..Anyways it was a wonderful novel!

To go from "Carrie," to "Shawshank Redemption," and from "Misery," to "The Green Mile," is a typical display of an author's ability to parallel their work between Horror and Drama. "The Green Mile," is yet another display of Stephen King's mastering of the art. A must read before the movie, as the movie lacks a simultaneous present tense story.

Review: This book was really good. The plot was very interesting and fun. My favorite character has to be Mr. Jingles. Who couldn't love that mouse. But all the characters in the book are really good. John Coffey is a cool, strange and well developed charcter. Overall this book is amazing.

Review: I had never thought about reading the series until the movie was advertised, then released. Not having time enough for a 3+ hour movie, I bought the book. The Green Mile is by far the greatest book I have read in a VERY long time. King has outdone himself, and anyone who is used to Kings' novels, will be surprised when they read this one. I wish I could buy copies for everyone I know. Please, if you are 'on the fence' about purchasing this book, do yourself a favor and buy it. You WILL NOT regret it.

Review: I am not a huge Stepen King fan but a friend of mine told me to read the Green Mile, so I took their advice and did. I could not put the book down. I became amazed with the characters and their stories. It was not like many of King's other novels, it was more 'believable' I guess you could say. I absoulutley loved it and I would highly recommend it to anyone who likes a good book.
