Summary: For All Those Who See King As A Gory Horror Writer
Review: I read this book after seeing the trailers at the cinema. I was interested because it didn't appear to follow King's notorious trend of horror books. This book has a supernatural theme rather than horror yet the characters are so real and the environment is described in such detail you can imagine every aspect of this chillingly tale. Weaving a tale of compassion and human nature, King creates one of his finest publications to date.

Summary: I swore to never read a King novel again after Gerald's Game
Review: But when my daughter gave me The Green Mile and said "read it", I did. Am I sorry? No. It's one of the best books Stephen has written. While I got hooked on "King Books" many years ago, then got turned off by them a some years later half way through Gerald's Game, I really wasn't looking to read this book. I would have missed out on a great story...Well, Stephen, you redeemed yourself. It's brilliant. So are you.

Summary: WOW
Review: I have never read Stephen King i am not a fan of horror. When i saw Shawshank Redemption i was blown away. Summary: A good read but noy up to usual King standards.
Review: The original serialization showa with a lot of repetition and cliff-hanging chapter ends. Probably more effective as a serial read in small doses. Likeable characters and a thought provoking look at capital punishment from a different perspective.

Summary: The Best of King
Review: Amazing. I love King, but after i read this book, i became Kings devoted fan. A serial novel about Paul and his problems with death sentenced prisoner is touching, beautifull, scary, lovefull and respectfull at the same time. Characters all real, storytelling is great and story is a little mysterious sometimes, wich makes the book even beter.I think this is the best book Mr. King wrote . He has finaly proven himself to all those who were saying that he can write only scary fiction.

Summary: Old Sparky
Review: Well, Stephen King is like an old wine - the older, the better. Like 'Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption', this serial novel is the masterpiece, a diamond of literature. King's works do not deserve to be classified as merely horror. This book should convince you enough. The author is not afraid to explore new means of communication with his constant reader. This time, the sequentially published 6 parts of the novel, recently combined in paperback, kept the readers anxious for half a year of distribution. As the America's Boogeyman admits himself, he did not have a clear idea of how the book would end, and what he would write later, after publication of the first volumes. The novel did not shake my point of view as for the necessity of the death penalty. Some guys deserve the rendez-vous with the Old Sparky. King's strength is in portraying characters, and 'The Green Mile' provides us with absolutely wonderful example. There will be no such character like Dolores Claiborne, but I guess that in the novel with several characters and no intention of psychological study, this the maximum one can achieve. In general, the book will entertain virtually anyone, not only those who like Stephen King. I await the DVD release of the film adaptation with Tom Hanks.

Summary: The best book I've ever read!
Review: I have been a fan of Stephen King for the past six years and have enjoyed all of his books that I have read. When this book came out, however, I did not have intentions of reading it since I had never heard anything about it. But then, I heard they were making a film out of it and I went to investigate. I went to the library later that day and picked up the six volumes of TGM. I read the entire book in less than a week and was blown away. This book went into every detail I needed to create the best mental picture from a book I ever have. It is a gripping novel that cannot be put down. This book is by far worth the money, and () you will not be let down. This is the type of book that will leave you in tears and begging for more. This is not typical King, but is the best of out of the ones I've read (Carrie, The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon, The Gunslinger, Night Shift, and TGM)and I suggest ever man and woman on this earth reads it. Enjoy!

Summary: A Great Novel!
Review: I'm not sure why this book is in the horror category, it's a sad story instead of a scary one. The plot is tense and the ending is unexpected and shocking. I definitely recommand everyone to read this book.

Summary: 10 STARS!
Review: If you're only going to read one of King's books, this should be the one! King's magic plays again in the story of John Coffey, a gentle giant on death row. The prison guards witness John's amazing gift, and are faced with a decision to make. The characters of this book are already exceptional, and when the award-winning plot is thrown in, you'll be caught, Hook, Line and Sinker! You'll find yourself yelling at Percy, laughing with Del, and praying for Coffey. The plot is clear and stong, detailed and yet concise. Leaves me with a good moral every time!

Take the walk down The Green Mile today, and you will never regret it!

Summary: "The Green Mile" : A good read!
Review: The Green Mile is a good book from the first volumn, to the last! I could almost imagine myself there, with the characters! I have added these volumns to my growing collection of Stephan King books! I am currently looking for this story all in one volumn!
