Rating: Summary: One Hell of A Good Read!!!!!!!! Review: This book was simply mind blowing! I have never read anything so all engrossing and riviting in all my life. My God! If I could only write like this I could not only amuse my friends and neighbors but make a million bucks in the process
Rating: Summary: Heart-stopping look into the heart of a monster Review: If this novel doesn't deserve a 10, none ever did. Koontz is extremely underrated as a writer, which is especially clear after reading this book. I literally stayed up all night reading it--and how often do people do that, really? The suspense is nonstop, the characters are fascinating, and the horror is gripping. The author pulls off the longest sustained pursuit-escape I have ever read, and it's more exciting than most action films. If you are not a devotee of horror fiction, you might overlook this winner. Do yourself a favor and read it soon
Rating: Summary: Dean Koontz does it again... Review: This was a real page turner. I was totally engrossed by the book and couldn't put it down. It was another successful reading by Dean Koontz. I enjoy all of his works
Rating: Summary: Intensity lives up to the title and the hype!! Review: You may think the phrase "You won't be able to put this book down" is over used.
NOT IN THIS CASE. This book is a page turner in the true sense. It is one of the
few book I have ever read that I really could not put down.
This book is of the old style.
It makes you want to shout out help to to the heroine (Chyna Shepard) and lash out
at the villain (Edgler Vess). If you like a book that gets you
invilved, you'll love this book.
One thing for sure. You have never met a villain like this one
Rating: Summary: Extremely Weak, Stupid Heroine Review: In an on-line chat session Koontz mentions that this is his favorite book. He needs to go back and read some of his GOOD novels. Every other page all I could think was, HOW STUPID CAN SHE GET? Chyna was not only stupid but weak. She manages to empathize with some girl she does not even know, and keeps company with the murderer, just in case she can save her. Save yourself - skip this book
Rating: Summary: I WAS SCARED TO DEATH ! Review: DEAN KOONTZ HAS OUT DONE HIMSELF THIS TIME.I FELT AS IF I KNEW EACH OF THE CHARACTERS PERSONALLY.I WAS FRIEGHTENED,SAD,AND MAD I WANTED TO BE THERE I WANTED TO KILL THE MADMAN MYSELF.THIS BOOK WAS DIFFERENT FROM ALOT OF DEANS OTHER BOOKS-THIS COULD HAPPEN-THIS MAN COULD BE OUT THERE WAITING.WHEN THEY PICKED THE TITLE THEY GOT IT RIGHT THIS BOOK WAS VERY INTENSE
Rating: Summary: HEARTSTOPPING ACTION! Review: A true page turner...One of Dean's best yet...
It's hard to put this one down once you begin,it will leave
you breathless and wanting more!
Definately one of his finest....truley a "must read" for horror fans!
Rating: Summary: I Can Breathe Now Review: I was scared out of my wits. It's time to start sleeping with a nightlight on. Yikes
Rating: Summary: Dean Koontz is the best suspense author ever Review: In this bood Dean Koontz shows us a strong set of characters and the
way that they fight for what they belive in. A true modern classic. I tip my hat to Dean Koontz!!!
Rating: Summary: Don't bother!! Review: The positive response to this book is so overwhelming that I must put in my two cents worth. I started to read it, I even held out hope for 100 pages, because I like Koontz. After 100 pages I found I still wasn't interested or involved in what was happening - I really didn't care about the characters or their eventual fates - and I put the book away. I felt I had better things to do with my time
