Rating: Summary: I love wolf Review: more than that, i miss him, and felt he should have been better cared for...shame on you SK for making me cry so damn hard!
Rating: Summary: Probably the best book, Stephen King has ever written! Review: I know how that title line must sound, but I want to make it clear, that this is absolutely only my personal opinion. This book really touched the inner depths of my soul, heart and mind. It really is the best book Stephen King ever put his name on!
Rating: Summary: The best King book of all time !!!!! Review: I only have one thing to say about this book: It's magnificent ! The story takes a hold of you, and transports you to the frightening world of the admirably heroic Jack Sawyer. A must read !!!
Rating: Summary: 2 Gifted Authors Combine Forces To Create Utter Bore Review: The only resemblance this bore to a work by either author was that it was too long. There is nothing remarkable or interesting about this semi-fantastical yawn factory.
Rating: Summary: This book makes your greatest imaginings become real Review: This book takes all the things you once believed in and throws them together in an exciting plot that will keep you up all night just to see what is going to happen next. I recommend it to anyone who likes a great story.
Rating: Summary: THE GREATEST BOOK EVER WRITTEN!!! Review: Two amazing writers and one amzing book. This is my favorite book of all time. I try to get everyone I know, whether a Stephen King fan or not, to read this one. I've read it three times. You really feel like you're IN the book! FANTASTIC!!! A must read for everyone!
Rating: Summary: the best book i've ever read!!!! Review: i am a major stephen king fan, so natuarally i real the talisman. the ideas that are conveyed in this book are totally beyond reality. and that is what makes it so awesome. king and straub use some common parts of life, and then add their own little twist. the book really makes a person think.
Rating: Summary: Storytelling on a Grand Scale Review: Absolutely incredible. Longtime readers of King will recognize his familiar touches, such as the dialogue that runs into interior monolgue and the many repeating references to music, and Straub fans will see what he brings to the table without difficulty. If there was one book that begged to be a movie (not a miniseries, like the illfated IT), this is it. I've read it cover to cover at least three times, and I am continually amazed by it. READ THIS BOOK. I wish Straub and King would do it again. and again, and again...
Rating: Summary: SIMPLY AMAZING!!! Review: i never read a book in which i cared for every single detail. it was so vibrant in discription and every little thing contributed to the story. Jack Sawyer is a character who transcends the pages and becomes part of you your difficulties are his and vice versa. The plot of this story is fantastic evry twist and turn is absolutely unpredictable and completely plausible. the worlds created by King and Straub are awe inspiring and brilliant. it might be more than 700 pages but you'll never want it to end
Rating: Summary: A really long, gooooood book!!! Review: The Talisman is a very good book. It is about a boy who is the 13 year old son of a out dated movie star. His Father is dead, and his two uncles are dead too. Now he fights to stop another death. Jack [the boy] is thrown into a world with monsters and hatred. Were people he knows are changed and called "Twinners". Along the way he meets many people and learns many things. I would say this is a good book for a post-collage or high school level book. It is very long and explains everything in great detail and is a great book. I'm in 7th grade and i had two weeks to read a 800+ page book. You should read this book, but on your own time =]
