Review: Swan Song has to be the best book I have ever read. It knocked "The Stand" right off its pedestal. I was enthralled from beginning to end. Swan Song is a Horror clasic.

Review: so I, at the recommendation of several friends, finallystarted reading Swan Song. As in most of his otherbooks, McCammon takes awhile to get going. I think it took me almost 2 months to get halfway through, but the second half I finished in roughly a week and a half (at MOST). I still thought the war would be cool, and then slowly as the characters suffer through nuclear winter and post-apocalyptic anarchy, I involuntarily faded down to thinking it wasn't such a good idea anymore. No matter what else changed for me through the course of the book though, Roland still ROCKS.

Review: I first read Swan's Song a decade ago and have re-read it numerous times. This is a novel which draws you in, you hate to have it end. The characters are so clear in your mind's eye that they become real. You can feel their pain, their joy, their fear. Whether you are a horror fan or not read this book..it is so much more that just a horror novel..it's more of a journey, which as I said you hate to see end

Review: Have you ever read a book and honestly felt like you were right there?? Well I have, and it was Swan Song. The characters, action, and landscape were all so vividly depicted , I felt like I was right there in the middle of the action as it was happening. If they ever turned this book into a movie, there would be no way that it could hold a candle to the version that played in my mind as I read along. You don't need a computer to experience Virtual Reality ,you just need this book. Read it and you will experience true terror..... and hope!!! I can't say enough good about this book, just get it
