Summary: Big disappointment!!!
Review: I could not believe Anne Rice was the author!! I have read all of her books and this if one of the worst. If I could, I would rate this with a zero star!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Amazing
Review: I loved this book in every way. It was the best book ever. I never really liked armand in the other book but this book helped me undersand him and things about him that other books left out. I hope anne rice would write more cool books like this in the vampire chronicles.

Summary: Way better then I expected
Review: Anne Rice is my favorite author and her books are then only ones I read. From Interview with the vampire to the Vampire Lestat to Queen of the damned and the tale of the body thief, each book kept getting better and better. When I read Memnoch the devil I expected a little more from that book. It wasn't that bad but it wasn't as good as any of the others. When I decided to read the vampire Armand I didn't think it would be good. I heard that that book was not worth reading. But as soon as I started to read it I was amazed. The tale of the body thief and the vampire Armand are the two best books I have ever read. A lot of people didn't like this book because of the strange sexual braver. I don't think it was that bad as to spoil the whole book. This book took place in the 15th century, and things were a lot different then. I think Anne Rice did an excellent job of writing the novel with so such description that I felt as if I was in the story experiencing everything for my self. My favorite part of the book was when Armand went back to Kiev and saw with his family again. That part was written with such emotion that it brought a tear to my eye. And I thought it was really original that Armand had two other names before he was named Armand. The only things that I didn't really like in the whole story was when at the end Armand and Marius get in a fight. I didn't think that Benji and Sybelle should have been made into vampires, and I'm still wondering what happened to Bianca. Other then that the book was perfect. I would recommend it to any one that won't get offended by erotic sexual descriptions. I would really like to see a squeal or a follow up to this book, or a book about the history of the vampire Santino would be good too.

Summary: Read it but don't expect anything worth remebering.
Review: If you loved Armand its okay. Well, sort of. Maybe why Vampires hate living is because after two books your story will go nowhere. This isn't the mysterious Armand we wonder about. Not the pain seeker who lets Lestat and Louis treat him like a weakling. In my opinion, Armand could of killed Lestat in Paris but instead chose to let Lestat beat him. I believe Armand wouldn't be in the whole child thing either (i.e. Bengi etc.). Why? Because Armand always wants to be the dependent. (sorry for any spelling or gramatical errors.)

Summary: This book was so boring.
Review: I had a hard time making it to the end of this book. When the writing wasn't dull and uninteresting it was completely tasteless. This book was a waste of my time.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Sensual, tantalizing, and boldly provacative
Review: If you either like AnneRice or vampires, or just a new perspective on history, this is a must. Probably my favorite Anne Rice. Even better than her original work, "Interview with a Vampire." I finished it in two days (even though I still had to work).

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Gay reader had a fine time
Review: I've read a lot of complaints about Armand's queer behavior. What else do you people expect??? Anne is known for her Bi Vampyres!and Armand put the moves on Lestat how many times? Not to mention Louis, Daniel... We all knew he was Marius' lover so, Deal with it!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: ONE OF THE BEST BOOKS I HAVE EVER READ!!!!!
Review: This book was absolutely perfect in every sense. it had everything, horror, sex, imagination. I could not put it down. Many people have complained about the homosexual thing, but remember people, this took place 500 years ago and people were different back then, especially men. I definately recomend it to every Anne Rice lover.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Armand's a hottie!
Review: This book only took me two days to read. It's very detailed and a little too explicit, but I liked it anyways. You don't really learn a whole lot about Armand's vampire life, but you get a lot of info on where he came from and stuff like that. The imagery is fantastic, and even though it kind of changes the way you think about Armand and Marius(in a bad way), I'd recommend it to anyone who's read the other Vampire Chronicles books.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Tragic, sad and erotic at the same time.
Review: This book is one of Anne Rice's best. The tale mostly set in Venice is wonderfully described you can almost feel yourself walking in the Plaza San Marco. It spans many aspects of human tragedy love, betrayal, lonliness, hatred and abandonment. It is gory in some aspects but that's what you expect from a vampire book. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a good vampire story.
