Summary: whoa.
Review: this was an awesum book. it was really freaky. it sent chills up and down my spine. i literally am have a museum phobia now. but the movie really dissappointed me. especially end. the monster is NOTHING like you imagine it to be, and the end is not even half as good as in the book. i was aggrivated for a while because there were loose ends to the story, and i wanted to learn what happened. i am twelve years old, but i would reccomend it for any age. just don't read it in a museum....

Summary: An absolute must-read!
Review: This book is well worth repeated readings. The fear and suspense do not diminish with repeated readings. Stay up late reading this, and you'll be up all night, fearing the Beast. You must read this book!

Summary: THE BEST!!
Review: This was one of the best books I ever read. The book made you keep turning the pages. I could not put it down

Summary: A number one in Horror and action
Review: The Relic is one of the most suspensful books evr. A heart pounding ride through terror in a museum stalked by a terrible creature. You won't be able to put this book down. Read it and love it. I don't recomend the sequal for everyone but you should definetly pick up Mount Dragon. It may not surpass The Relic, but its a blockbuster ride none the less

Summary: Excellent ! I've reread it several times.
Review: I first read it in hardback, when I loaned it out it never came home so I bought the paperback. It does not get to leave the house ! This is definitly a keeper. I stayed up the entire night just to finish the story. I literally could not put it down. There are not many books these days that I can say that about. The character development is great and the atmosphere is appropriately gloomy. I haven't looked at museums the same way since. It's definitely worth the replacement cost.

Summary: Amazing Climax!
Review: This was a pretty good book, but could've been better. Not much better, though. The plot is a creature is looose in a museum and is killing people. The last 80 pages (the climax) are amazing. These pages are so action-packed and suspenseful, its worthy of Jurassic Park. But the rest of the book is a little on the slow side. But I would recommend it to anyone who liked Jurassic Park and/or similar books.

Summary: A must read
Review: If you like Horror Novels, you have to have this one in your library.
The authors build up a tension, that makes it impossible to stop reading.
And when you realize the showdown is about to start and see that
there are still 200 pages to read without getting bored, you know that
these guys are "really" good. Can't wait to get me the sequel!

Summary: I'm in love with horror stories again!
Review: I had become rather lackidaisical about the horror genre of late. Most of it seems to be the same old stuff, some old predictable plots, same old trite characters. Then, I found Relic. It made me a believer again. I was never bored as I found an exciting twist or addition on every page. I would go to bed at night, think about what was happening in the book, and get up again because I just HAD to know what was going to take place next. I never came close to guessing the ending. As soon as I'd finished Relic I had to go out and buy Reliquary -- I think Preston and Child are fantastic.

Summary: GOOD!
Review: I am a strange person.I like to read the novel before I came towatch the movie in the cinema. It is exiciting to know before ithappens within my knowledge. This habit starts when I learn to read a novel. My first glance on the book shelf concerntrate on the horror site. Then the black-covered book captured me.I buy it and start reading it.What an amazing story!Asuspenceful novel that I spent two days to finish it. END
