Rating: 5 stars
Summary: "IT" is right up there with "The Stand"
Review: I read "IT" right after having read "The Stand" Right from the beginning I identified with the kids. Me being from small town New England, I knew the town that King was creating for the readers, I read in awe as the characters returned to face their individual monsters, i felt there fear and rejoiced at their tryumph. This is most definatly one of King's greatest works ever, a great horror romp with a deeper purpose of facing one's ghosts. I think it will stay with me forever

Summary: BEST BOOK EVER!
Review: This is the best book ever written. You get to know the characters so well that they are just somebody you know. The book itself is also scary. I sometimes have nightmares about Pennywise. That is what makes this book so great.

Summary: IT, the best book in the world
Review: I believe that It, King's magnum opus in my opinion, is perhaps the best book written in the last 30 years or so. King captures the essence of childhood and of the fifties, while interweaving it with horror. I find the losers second entrance to the house on neibolt street one of the scariest scenes Iv'e read

Summary: TERROR AND WARMTH
Review: THIS BOOK IS KING'S MASTERPIECE. HE HAS WRITTEN A UNFORGETTABLE SAGA OF EPIC TERROR. YOU ENTER THE SMALL TOWN OF DERRY. THIS IS TOWN LIKE THE ONES WE GREW UP IN BUT IT IS HAUNTED BY SUPERNATURAL EVIL THAT PREY ON IT'S CHILDREN. THE NOVEL GOES BACK AND FORTH FROM THE 1950S' TO THE PRESENT. THE HEROES BATTLE THIS EVIL FROM THEIR CHILDHOOD. THEY ARE DRAWN BACK TO THEIR TOWN WHEN THEY GROW UP TO FINISH THE JOB. IT IS FILLED NOSTALGIA OF CHILDHOOD IN THE 1950S'. THIS NOVEL COMBINES THE WARMTH AND THE JOY OF THOSE TIMES WITH SUPERNATURAL TERROR. IT WARMTH THE HEART AND IT TERIFIES

Summary: ONE OF STEPHEN KING'S BEST BOOKS
Review: No one captures the essence of childhood better than Stephen King does. "It" is a primary example of this fact. One of Stephen King's lengthiest books but well worth the read. Stephen King gets constantly criticized for writing horror and his lack of originality. But the novel "It" beg's to differ that assumption. This is a tale of horror, suspense, fantasy, friendship, and most important of all what it feels like to be a child. A lot of people think that an interest in horror is unhealthy. They only see the monsters, the evil, the darkness. What they fail to see is that most of Stephen King's novels are displays of human endurance. To this day I still have nightmares of Pennywise The Clown. The fans of Stephen King will always appreciate what he has created: a world of sight, wonder, and amazement

Summary: loved it
Review: This is the scariest book I have ever read, and I've read more than a few. I was up all night finishing IT and couldn't stop checking my bathroom sink!! Every gurgle terrified me. Stephen King's characters are so true they feel like members of my own family. I always feel sad after I finish one of his books, as if I've said goodbye to a friend. I only gave IT a 9 because the ending wasn't what it could have been, in my opinion. TTrainRR@aol.co
