Summary: A chilling horror that is evil to the bone
Review: This is a book that can only be described in one word, IT. This piece of work is diffenently ment to be read in a well lighted room. The book is one of King's greatests ever. It is one of his most mature and complete pieces of work. I recomend this book to anyone who is able to handle a scare

Summary: 10 Years Ago I Promised Myself That I would Read It Again
Review: The 10 years have passed and I still haven't read this fantastic story again. I loved it so much it's kind of difficult to go back to it once more for fear of being disappointed. The evocative reminiscing of childhood adventure simply supercedes any of King's horror writings. As in The Body, King clearly clicks when relating the spirit of adventure, something we seem to lose as we grow older. It goes well beyond its premise of Good versus Evil. It is all about the amazing boldness and courage that only children can ever understand. The world of "It" is naive innocence. It is a world we all yearn for now we are old. The master of the Horror genre undersells himself in his pursuit of cheap thrills. If only S.King had the courage to follow his true genius, he could surely stand up tall amongst the literary greats of the last 50 years. I will read "It" again, but not yet.

Summary: Thre is no higher rate than 10?
Review: That's Stephen King. "It" is an encyclopaedia of King's worlds and nightmares. The primordial fears, the explosive fantasy of childhood, the pure love for adventure and the hatred only dark creatures and kids can feel. A masterwork of horror-fantasy literature and a fine studium on childhood. King at his best

Summary: Amazing. One of the best books I have ever read!
Review: King is a master. Is characters are so well developed that you feel like you know each one of them. His narrative is execllent, and while reading this book yoiu feel that the horror of It could well be real. I was gripped by this book as if gripped by Pennywise himself. I could not put it down, even though if would keep me awake at night. As I am only 15, this book really had an impact on me, I felt like Pennywise was always waiting just around the corner, just as he is in the book

Summary: The one book that i read over and over just cause i like it.
Review: This is my favorite book. Ive read it about 20 times. This is one of those books where every time you read it you find something new that you haddnt seen before. After you read it enough you can just pick it up and start from anywhere. You get to love everyone of these characters from the wise cracking Richie to the object of Ben (and all the rests) affections, Beverly Mars

Summary: A masterpiece from the master himself!
Review: This was one of the most recent novels I have read from King. I picked it up while at my grandmothers house for the summer. Now, I know this would have scared the heck out of me, which it did, under normal conditions, but this is my grandmothers house! Why was it worse (mattering on how you look at it; I enjoy being scared!)? Well, my grandmother is a clown "freek." She herself is a clown, even has her own "trademark" look that no one else can use. Besides that, she has figureens, pictures, statues, etc., of clowns all over her house; including in the room in which I was sleeping in! In my room, there was an old, tattered, fading, watercolor of a clown. The clown was a "sad" clown, and the condition of IT made it look terrifying! Especially late at night, with the moon shining on IT. Then, right after I finished the book, we watched my grandmothers movie of IT which she had. Talk about terrifying

Summary: Truly Stephen King's master work.
Review: I am an avid fan of Stephen King and I have to say, this is my favorite book of any author. As a child myself, it addresses some of my darker fears in a thouroughly entertaining way. I can really relate to the characters. "IT" is one of the scariest books I've ever read. It grabs you and won't let go. I have read the book at least five times and still want to reread it. My copy is so battered and worn you can barely make out the title. It is a great book for the beach. I wouldn't reccomend reading "IT" while relaxing in the tub. NEVER SEE THE MOVIE. The movie is very disappointing. It puts way too much emphasis on the clown aspect of IT and the final scene is badly made. But anyway, to truly understand the power of this book you must read it. It seems larger than life and looms over you for years to come

Summary: "It" is, hands-down, the best book I have read.
Review: I lived in a dorm of 450 people and my copy of it is so worn, from being read again and again by at least 20 different people, none of which could put it down and all of which agreed it was a spectacular work. (We actually had a waiting list for who got it next...) I have read it several times and it gets better each and every time. The characters are so deep and detailed, the plotline masterfully constructed. The book reads like a runaway train, always going faster, never slowing. The only problem with the book is that it ends. (you'll see... when you are done reading it, you feel as if you have lost some of your friends...
