Rating: Summary: If you haven't read "IT", then you are missing out on life. Review: The first Stephen King book I read, was "The Shining". I read it when I was 12, but it still gave me a nightmare...Then I read "It" and I was hooked on horror. My friends think I'm crazy ("Why on earth do you bother to read this crap?") Well, it's hard to tell people what kind of effect a book can be on you. But the effect from "IT", is forever lasting !!! One thing is for sure, it's hard for me to stop reading once I start. I almost flunked my finals, because of "Insomnia". But when it's dark 9 months of the year (as it is here in Iceland), it's fun to get scared and Stephen King dose just that.....and does it well. Keep on reading !!!
Rating: Summary: my second favorite king book Review: i'm scard of clowns now. over a thousand pages and i was never board. i've read about 20 king books and next to the stand this is my second favorite.
Rating: Summary: AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! Review: This book was THE coolest! I LOVED it! The movie was really cool too. Ever since I read 'IT', I won't go anywhere NEAR clowns. This book is definately a MUST READ!
Rating: Summary: the book was really cool but the movie sucked Review: the book was awsome!!!!!i loved it after the first few chapters i couldnt put it down definitly one of his best i just wish he would wright more books i that catagory. but the movie was terribal i was so disapointed in it i mean they could at least try to make it good but they didnt. i think all copies of it should be burned. i think thay should make a movie of it that they put in theaters. if your thinking of seeing the movie dont unless you whant to laugh at bad acting and stupid fx. but i thought the book was really one of his best
Rating: Summary: Believable--yet scary. Review: I felt that Stephen King wrote this novel wonderfully. The clown may be his scariest character to this day, while the plot was still very believable. King draws the readers in, keeping them on the tip of their seat. Definately 5 stars.
Rating: Summary: King's at his very Best Review: In years to come after Mr. King has been taken from us we will look back and say that this was his masterpiece. The interlacing of the 2 story lines, past and present, and bringing them both to conclusion at the same time was nothing less than brilliant. Stay away from the movie, in this case the book is better.
Rating: Summary: This is IT! Review: People, I first read this book ten years ago when I had just turned 12. What an intro to S.K.. IT is his best by far, Pennywise still haunts me and I am still hunting for the Turtle. I spent many late nights flipping through the pages of this book (which I now blame for my psychiatric problems). I have read it again and will read it again(and again). S-s-s-stuff th-the m-m-movie, read the book!
Rating: Summary: We All Float Down Here................ Review: This is one of the most terrifying books ever! Stephen King is an excellent writer and keeps you on the edge of your seat the entire book! This is one you don't want to read when it's dark outside and you are all alone! Beware for It may be lurking in the sewers of your town...
Rating: Summary: Oh My GOD! Review: I'm 13 years old, I saw the movie IT BACK. It's just like the book. You think it's scarry to read it?!?!?!!? ? WAIT UNTIL YOU SEE THE MOVIE!!! I saw the movie 3 years ago, and I'm still scared. I was afraid to look for info on that movie, because I didn't want to look at the Clown's picture. Please, for the sake of horror, WATCH THE MOVIE!!! It's the scarryest ever. And, be aware... we're floating... WERE ALL FLOATING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HA HA !!!
Rating: Summary: A-MAZING Review: Simply awesome. How does Stephen King continue to conjure up brilliant stories that transport the reader into a different world. It is so easy to become one of the seven main characters, to be there. Stephen King deserves all the praise for this novel. For your sake, if you have not read this book, please be advised to go and get a copy. The only reason this book didn't get a ten is because there can only be one winner and that title goes to THE STAND. But this book is almost as good.
