Rating: Summary: I read the italian version many years ago: Review: it was a real exeperience. I loved it. I can still "see" the scenes. It's great, not only for the scaring parts, but mainly for the characters: you can exactly see them and feel their life. For me it's been the best story about love and friendship i've never read.
Rating: Summary: One Heck Of A Read! Review: I loved this book! With 'It', King is at the top of his game. A first time reader would do well to read this book. I highly recommend it, and will always be an avid King Fan
Rating: Summary: Author of the Century!!! Review: Simply the best book I have ever read. I am an avid reader, and I have never been drawn into a book like this. I have read this book at least a dozen times cover to cover and that says a lot for a book of this size. Captivating!!!
Rating: Summary: Climax was great...but the ending wasnt the best Review: The best part of this book was when the clown scared them, as kids. It was a great climax when they retrned and reunited, bt the end was not good. The idead that it was a spider is ok... i stress "OK" but they way they kill him ( which i wont tell for those who havent read it) was down-right odd. Overall, i reccomend it, it was enjoyable. Also Salems Lot is a book i reccomend.
Rating: Summary: I read this book a dozen years ago and I still haven't...... Review: gotten over my fear of clowns and storm drains. This book is typical KING (Typical KING is Good KING)The story is melancholy, it's suspensful and it's VERY, VERY SCAREY. I remember the characters like it was yesterday...I became part of their lives while reading this book, some times I even miss them! KING is descriptive and stays with the story (most of the time) The very end I hated and still haven't excepted what "IT" turned out to be. This is a must read for all KING readers.
Rating: Summary: Pretty Neat Review: This book was very bloody which is cool. Read this book first if your new to King's work
Rating: Summary: Perfection Review: I got 'IT' for Christmas, and I finished it just after New Years. Considering that this book is well over a thousand pages long, that was no easy task, but it was definetly a labor of love. I really enjoyed the book, and I seriously believe that S.K. is the best writer this earth has ever had. I am 16 years old and have been reading his novels since I was eleven. I really recommend this book to anyone who likes to read Mr. King's works.
Rating: Summary: best written work i have ever seen Review: Not only is this one of the most stimulating breath taking eye catching books you can find, but it is written beutifully. it spins a web around the story that actually makes you want to read a book over a 1000 pages long
Rating: Summary: 'We All Float Down Here' Review: First of all to get my opinion in, this book was awesome!!! The best King has ever written...the best written in a long time. The Losers Club/Lucky Seven are the most well developed characters I have read about. I found myself not getting scared, but being worried or scared for THEM. Pennywise the Clown/Bob Gray- THe villian is definitly the best villian in any book movie or tv show. Why? Because he's a three demensional character. Especially towards the end in the sewer she can she that IT does not act evil, IT is evil itself. The town of Derry is also a fascinating concept. I find it interesting how Pennywise was basically the whole entity of the town, and that it had been around since the beginning of time. The 27 year periods just made me more eager to read. The INterludes, well most people will say these are boring. They are a little slow, but they are creppy, because you get a special insight into MIke's mind that you really don't see any where else in the book. I cry everytime I read the lsat part, where they realize they will all forget, including Mike. The book is long, but everytime I read it I find myself wanting more. i find myself picking up new bits to ponder. The miniseries to this book SUCKED. The problem was leaving out too many vital details that made the story. The problems with SK movies is they try to cram thoughts and stories and plays on words into 4 hrs. It just doesn't work I suggest that everyone should read the book, especially teenagers who sometimes feel left out, or alone, like the Losers, a person can definitly relate to them Sorry this is so long
Rating: Summary: Absolutely Thrilling!! Review: IT by s.King is absolutely excellent,i think it is amazing because it makes you feel like you are 1 of the people watching 'it' murdering everyone. I think there should be a sequel to it and after i read the book and saw the movie i never liked clowns again!!
