Summary: all i can say is, it's one helluva book man!
Review: i've only read 5 other Stephen King books, and up until i finished IT, Desperation was my favorite. I couldn't put this book down. I've never read anything that had so much story but didn't confuse you before. I liked Ben the most but thought King made every one of the children interesting and charming, in their own way. i look forward to seeing the movie now, although they probly took out a million great parts.

Summary: Friendship and love overcomes all
Review: I felt that "It" was a bit too long. After a while, I became numb to any of the horror elements that were in the book. That doesn't mean that I didn't like it. I really liked the book and that is why I write this now. Don't get me wrong, I found it hard to leave my room at night without thinking that I might see a clown, but "It" touched me in another way. Since the book was long, I almost felt like I lost my friends when it was over. I think that is where the strength of this book lies. The power of friendship and love. I don't think that I'll forget the Losers anytime soon! They are a part of me and probably all of us.

Summary: The best King book ever
Review: If I have to choose a favorite book, I usually choose this one. It is increadibly great and kept me reading non-stop. The characters are incredibly enoyable and every one of them is likeable. I still remember all of their names. It is an epic story of 7 people's lives and how one eveil presence effects them all. Simply great, and with a conclusion ten times better then taht of the Stand, this is quite possible my favorite novel.

Summary: THE BEST HORROR BOOK EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: This is the the best horror book ever written. King has the perfect ideas and IT was a perfect book. Clowns would probably never hurt a fly but yet they still freak us out. IT turns a dancing clown (Pennywise) into children's worst nightmare. The book was so much better than the movie but IT wasn't exactly easy to make a movie out of. Tim Curry did a superb job at Pennywise and I loved the sarcastic jokes Pennywise made. This movie is very scary as a young child but is more funny than scary when you get older. The book on the other hand will scare you cold if you are as young as 8 or as old as 80!

Summary: Hey Georgie! What ya think of the book!
Review: "WARNING" "Don't go to the circus anytime soon!" This book was so great. I loved it! Don't be afraid of the thickness of the book. It seems long but it's well worth it. I'm barely able to right this. I couldn't sleep! Pennywise the clown was the best villin I've ever read. it's like a magnet to metal! Can't put it down! i think King could have come up with something better than a spiter but i thought it was the best. King is truelly a great. Go jump off a cliff Dean Koontz! Stephan King is the best! Can't wait to read another one!

Summary: Stand by Me meet H.P. Lovecraft
Review: Though not a great piece of literature, It does make for a good summer read. However, 200-300 pages could have been left behind. The repititios character description quickly becomes boring. (Richie's jokes, and Bill's stuttering are crucial to the plot, but annoyed me after a few hundred pages.) The best part by far is the supernatural presence. Clearly inspired by H.P. Lovecraft, the stories last chapters are the best. Though not for everyone, the final showdown with It becomes a weird twist of reality.

Summary: a book with possibilities that evaporated at the end.
Review: king did a good job developing the characters in this book. the story builds and builds.....then he does not know how to end it. i don,t like reading long books just to be disapointed. mite be a good idea to not get so carried away with the story that he doesn,t know how to end it. stick to less fantastic plots. i tthink he outdid himself in a negative way. i like lots of sk's books but not this one!

Summary: Read, then watch
Review: In my life time I've read maybe the total of 10 books. And they all were 200 pages or less. Someone challenged me to read a really long book and I accepted. "It" is a 1000 + page book and I am pround to say that I finished it! It was the best book I've ever read. Which probaly doesn't say much because I don't read a whole lot. When I read, I felt as if I was with them all. I was feeling what they were feeling. King is a great writer. Thats what he wants. He wasnt's you to feel the same emotions his characters do. One last thing. READ THE BOOK BEFORE YOU WATCH THE MOVIE. The movies sucks compared to the book.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Probably the best book King's ever written or likely to
Review: This is probaby one of the best scary tales ever written, a) because the central idea is so chilling in itself (and casting a clown as the main 'face' of It was pure genius), and b) because it is so many tales wrapped into one. This is one long book, but that is one of the best things about it--it shows just how deep-rooted the evil is in Derry, and makes the Losers' task all the more frightning. Trust me, you'll fall in love with the characters, but you'll never visit the circus again!
