Summary: Verry trippy, but also cool.
Review: King has actually created a character for almost everybody here: the smartass, the fat kid, etc. The ending is very trippy. I'm not gonna say what it is and spoil it for everybody, but it's gonna make you start looking pretty hard at things just to make sure that they're there. Even though it's long, you don't want it to end. I know most people don't like the movie, especially if they read the book first, but I still think it's pretty cool. Another thing, tied in to the first few sentences - when you read this book, you can find charcters that are so much like you that it's almost as scary as Pennywise. While reading one of the passages where Richie uses a bunch of his voices to smart off, I actually recognized a few that I used! I didn't name them like he did, but even so. Then the taped-glasses thing - my glasses were the exact same way when I was reading it! Like I said, the book is verry trippy, but also cool.

Summary: The Scariest of all King Novels!
Review: King's "It" is the scariest, most horrifying, work of terror. One finds himself checking on sounds outside and turning on all the lights in the house. You will never look at clowns the same way. King's most absolute best!

Summary: Absolutely ASTOUNDING!
Review: What more can one say about Stephen King's classic novel? It is the foundation upon which all cement statues are formed. I was reading IT one night, and the fellas went into the basement of the abandoned house with the werewolf. These guys had grease on their pee-pees. Actually it was baby-oil. They had rubbed baby-oil all over their pee-pees. I was like, "What the heck is this? Why have you greased up your pee-pees? I'm thirty-seven years old, I am probably too old to be playing with those..." You can imagine where things went from there. After we narrowly escaped the werewolf on our trusty bicycles, I asked George for some amplitudinal access to his sanctuary. Fortunately for me, he obliged and I was able to emit transparent white fluid from his five and a half inch protusion. It was a special moment for us both. Thank you bunches for listening to me story. I like this book a lot!

Summary: Evil Lurks in his eyes, the Clown they call PENNYWISE
Review: Anyone ever heard of the band PENNYWISE? Well guess where they got their name? From this book! This book is so awesome, it is unbelievable. It took me like a month to read, but man, is it weird. The TWEAKED scenerio makes you feel as if you are a character! I highly suggest you read it!

Summary: When Evil is Powerless
Review: Stephen King has written such a host of books that among his oeuvre one can unearth both namby-pamby stories and genuine gems with a whole gamut between. 'It' is a brilliant novel, my nonpareil favorite among the King's: I love its style, its plot, its characters (except some unnecessary carnal scenes). For me it is not an ordinary horror but an allegory of eternal battle of Good and Evil in the world. Repeating a famous gospel truth, King tells to be like children - believe in Good (in good policeman, in Santa Claus, in love and friendship...) and this faith will make Evil powerless against you: It can kill you but never vanquish.

Summary: *Wonderful!*
Review: This is a great book... and one of my very favorite ones Stephen King wrote. I think IT was a great book because of the characters, friendship, and horror in it. The begining was sort of bad since it talked about those men like that, but the rest was perfect! It was worth reading it, and for those of you who quit reading it because it was "too long" then you missed a lot or are just lazy and hate reading. The movie was very good too, and long, but had tons of details in it also. Read it if you like horror... and if you are terrified of clowns! The ending was very surprising, and it did make me understand why that monster kept saying "They all float down here.." You'll know what I mean if your read it.

Summary: Don't Send In This Clown
Review: This ain't the clown your mama took you to see at the circus. This one is downright scary! What a great book! The movie wasn't too bad either, until they totally blew the ending. Tim Curry was awesome as Pennywise. I've never liked clowns and Stephen King proves my point, they are really creepy.

The only King book better then this one is The Stand (the best book of all time). Don't let the number of pages scare you away from this one, it's worth every page.

The characters are very well written and you'll be cheering for most of them, except for that creepy clown. But you'll love his total evilness too.

You should read this book when you have some time off because you won't be able to put it down. Just stock up on munchies and lock the door.

Summary: Excellent novel for advanced reading.
Review: Mass murdering has been going on in Derry, Maine for some time now. Is anyone capable of stopping the unknown serial killer? Read this book and find out!

This Stephen King novel takes place in Derry, a small town in Maine where pretty much everyone knows everyone else. There are several main characters: Ben, Richie, Beverly, Stan, Mike, and Eddie, but the main protagonist is Bill Denbrough. The conflict in this story is between the "Loser Gang" (Bill, Ben, Richie, Beverly, Stan, Mike, and Eddie) and the antagonist, It. This mystical force/being has been plaguing Derry for as long as anyone can remember. The ultimate motive for the Loser Gang's want to kill It is because It killed Bill's brother, George, along with several other toddlers and children. Bill feels a need to put an end to these atrocities. I will not give away the ending to this spellbinding story, because it will lower the suspense level.

I feel that the fight between the Turtle and It is symbolic to the battle that has been going on since the beginning of time i.e., the battle of good and evil.

This is a fascinating book that is great for all adults and any middle-school-aged students who are looking for a challenge. There are very captivating scenes that can keep you up all night reading this story. This book contains a high amount of sexual situations, cursing, and homosexual acts that I feel could have been left out, but otherwise, the book is flawless.

Summary: It scared me senseless......
Review: What a book! A dark journey into the underworld of the evil that is truely terrifying. King has done it again, with this tale. This is a book that will draw you in, then the clown "Pennywise" will drag you down..where "They ALL float down here!" I was with those teenagers/adults as they recounted there journey of terror into self-realization. The only reason that it didn't get a 5 stars in my book is they ending could of been alot scarier. Those who read the book will know what I mean...Overall though, another masterpiece of terror by Stephen King...

Summary: Send in the Clowns
Review: Mr. King has again scared me so much I absolute LOVE it - but I will forever be afraid of clowns and storm drains. I felt as if I knew all of the characters personally as I do with all his books. Triumph of good over evil, as with a lot of his books, this one is very special. Pennywise is a very worthy advisary and perfect evil.
