Summary: Derry kids, VS Pennywise the clown (IT)
Review: I love IT, it was my fave Stephen King book, my second was the Stand, if you haven't read either, you should. Or try The Shining, Pet Sematary, Carrie, or Salem's Lot. They are all great Stephen King books. Or try Dean Koontz or Jonathan Kellerman, they are both good too. Here I'll tell you a little about IT.

In 1958, seven, twelve year old kids, six boys, and one girl find that a ancient evil lives in their town and is killing children of all ages. They christen the evil that can change faces "IT." One of kids, his little brother was killed by it. The kid wants to avenge his brother's death and stop others from happening. So they go and fight it and kill it Or did they.....? Many years later, in 1985, all of the kids but one had moved away. They are know successful grownups, but one call will change their lives. The man still living in their hometown calls each one, with a chilling message. "IT's back."

Summary: You'll fly!
Review: IT is my favourite book right now. I'll read other books but I don't think that the following novels will top this book. I like when the LOSERS were children because it lets you remember your own childness. If you read this novel, you will probably laugh, scream and cry. When you'll have been finished reading this fantastic novel you'll think that life is beautiful!

Summary: It was a breathe taking book
Review: "It" was about seven people brought together by an evil spirit. People can relate to childish fears that are presented in this book. This book was so good that I couln't put it down.

Summary: An Incredible Journey
Review: After finishing IT for only the second time, I feel I must add my comments to those listed below. I found this book to be one of the greatest fiction books I have ever had the pleasure of curling up with for several weeks and reading (any book that can have me go through the full range of emotions over and over again and then get me to spend weeks reflecting on thoughts from the last two paragraphs has to rank up there). SK has managed to write the scariest novel I have ever read but also weave in multiple underlying themes (Good vs Evil, racial discrimination, the reality of childhood as seen through the eyes of a child - who can forget the schoolyard bullies?) that kept me thinking the whole way through the book. Rather than bore you with a long review - just read the book you'll be glad you did (although due to the mature and sometimes inappropriate content of a number of scenes, I don't recommend this book for anyone under 13/14). As a parting comment, the book is best summed up by my dilema - Which is scarier: Pennywise or the reality of what happens to us as we grow up and leave childhood behind?

Summary: IT's realy a good one
Review: They were seven. Now they are six. They were 11-12 years old boys and girl. Now they are at their late 30's. They have to close some old bill they left open when they left their home town. In my own rank IT stand in the second place just after the Stand. but what a great second place. At the end of the book you feel like you spent YOUR childhood with Bill and the loosers. It's only weak point is its end. I expect something greater then a drooling spider. but nevertheless its a very good one. Enjoy

Summary: SIMPly the best book ever written
Review: I just had to say that this is the finest book ever to be written and ever will be written. It is profound and moving and alien all at the same time. Anyone who says it is to long is DEAD WRONG, it was too short. I would have read another 10000 pages about Ben and Bill and Mike and Ritchie and Beverly and Stan. Writing at its finest.

Summary: Truly entertaining
Review: I first read this book about 10 years ago when I needed a book for 9th grade English reading time. I borrowed it from a friend, expecting to return it after English was over, but there was no way he was getting that book back until I was done! The book pulled me into the story and I literally read it nonstop until the end.

10 years later, I still think this is a pretty dang good book. The horror is wound so carefully into the story that it doesn't seem gratuitous, and the everyday lives of the characters are so well portrayed that I get a great idea of life in the 1950s. And the music references are great, with all the lyrics wound throughout the book. When Screaming Jay Hawkins died recently, the only reason I noticed was because I had read about him in "It."

A great book, one of King's best.

Summary: THE MOST HORRIFYING NOVEL EVER!
Review: Stuttering Bill, a brave young boy, always knew there was something wrong in the small, little-known town of Derry, Maine. It all started with his mischievous brother George's murder. Over the years a whole slew of children from all over Derry had been found mysteriously missing, and in some cases, dead. Some dark force was sucking the life from Derry and only Bill and his friends could stop IT. Through their battle to fight this creature their worst fears are manifested into reality. I would not recommend this book to children below middle school age or those with hear troubles because IT will terrify you beyond belief. IT is probably the best novel of any genre that I've ever read, and definitely the most horrifying! I would give this book five stars... just one bit of advice, read it with the lights on!
