Summary: Where's The Beef?
Review: This book started so promosing, but in the end was one big dissapointment. It was extremely anti-climactic and really did not go anywhere. Speaking rats - what more can I say. This novel is meant for a young teenage audience who are not mature enough to understand thoughtful writing.

Summary: This is one of the best books I have ever read!
Review: This book is hard to describe. Once you have finished it you walk around looking for doors and check their faces twice when you see a beggar on the street( this will seem very clear to you once you've read the book). I want to go back to the world that engulfed me while I read the book. What can I possibly write to pursuade you to bye this book? The only thing I will say is that it is one of the best books I have ever read, and I have read quite a few. Please read it, it will take you to a different world...The world of London Below!!!

Summary: Great read I would recommend it to anyone
Review: Neil Gaiman best known for writing the DC Vertigo comic book "Sandman" has got some true skills. This novel held my attention from cover to cover. I am not a real fan of the whole "fantasy/ other realm" novels but the only time I put this book down was when I hand to sleep. Truly a great book and next to Jerry Stahl's "Permanent Midnight" is a favourite. That is always worthy of a second go.

Summary: Billboard Audio Book review
Review: Best known for his award-winning "sandman" comic book series, Neil Gaiman here draws us into yet another mysterious, darkly compelling world. Based on Gaiman's British TV series of the same name, "Neverwhere" begins with Richard Mayhew, a well-meaning but rather passive young man who is content to be directed by his bossy, ambitious fiancee. Then one night he unexpectedly comes across a girl bleeding on the sidewalk. He stops to help her and nurses her back to health, but in doing so, he finds that his life has been irrevocably altered. The girl, Dor, is from a magical underworld, and by connecting with that world, Richard no longer exists in his own world -- his fiancee doesn't recognize him, and his job and apartment are filled by other people. To get his life back, he must journey into Dor's world and help her in her quest. Gary Bakewell, who played Richard in the TV series, does a masterful job as narrator, drawing the listener in and performing a variety of British accents and personalities for the myriad characters, from the confused, down-to-earth Richard to the mystical angel Islington to the chillingly sinister Mr. Croup. This is a highly original, imaginative, and rewarding audio, not to be missed.

Review: One of the best books I've ever read. Gaiman is forever full of taking our symbols. myths and subconsciousnesses and bringing them to light.
