Summary: amazing
Review: Nora Roberts knows how to please her readers with her storytelling ability, and DANCE UPON THE AIR is no exception. Here Nora Roberts tells of abuse, freedom, love, and trouble in ways that makes everyone--her fans and newcomers--want to read her stories.

Summary: Dance upon the Air
Review: This book is the start of another magnificent series by Nora Roberts. The theme is familiar to those who read and loved the Donovan Legacy (and I certainly did). If you enjoyed the Donovan Legacy or any of Nora Roberts books you will be anxiously waiting the sequels. So Ms Roberts if you happen to see this please please hurry with the next two books. I am re-reading my stash of Nora Roberts even now.

Summary: Cozy thriller is another great offering from Nora!
Review: The first novel in Nora Roberts' new trilogy does not disappoint. As usual, Nora demonstrates that relationships between sisters, brothers, and friends are as important to happiness as is romance. Of course, the romance is there. When Nell Channing arrives on Three Sisters Island, located off the coast of Massachusetts, she is looking for job and a second chance at life. Sheriff Zack Todd suspects she is hiding something important, but he still can't help falling under her spell. Nell also forms close friendships with her new employer, Mia, and Zack's sister, Ripley. When her troubled past catches up with her, she will need both her new friends and her new found sense of self to triumph. This cozy novel will have readers cheering as Nell finds and claims her new life.

Summary: I've seen the movie
Review: Don't get me wrong, I liked this book, Nora Roberts knows how to tell a story. But, what I can't understand is why she isn't getting popped for plagarism. This is straight "Sleeping with the Enemy" plus a little earth, wind and fire sister magic thrown in. The story is good, so buy it used if you saw the movie.

Summary: A Definite Must Have!!
Review: As a huge Nora Roberts fan,I was thrilled to see a new book on the shelf. This book is the perfect lead in to another fabulous triology! It is impossible not to fall completely in love with these characters. As you get to know these characters, their lives seem so real. I love the witches theme. This series will be right up there with the Donovans!! Another awesome read from an awesome author

Summary: Another Great Beginning to Another Great Trilogy
Review: Nora Roberts is at it again. The first book in this new Three Sisters Island trilogy is great! It is an excellent read. I felt like I was there on the island. It grabs you and excites you and holds your interest. I couldn't put it down.

Summary: I expect more from Nora Roberts
Review: If you prefer her softcover romances to her main line fiction (I do) you may enjoy this book, but: the magic thing wasn't as entertaining as in Enchanted, not as fully integrated into the characters' personalities--yes, two of the "witches" were new or fighting it, but it still was not convincing. The hero seemed to come out of central casting, and I didn't care if he won the woman or not. The heroine sets up a catering business out of her home without mention of passing health inspection requirements, etc. Roberts usually covers the details; she didn't in this one. The ending drags; I skipped to the last page at about chapter 16. Sometimes Roberts will produce one like this. She goes very fast; writes a lot of books, and does it better than most. Which left me expecting more from her than I got from this book.

Summary: A great romance, but not the best we've seen from Roberts.
Review: Nora Roberts is an awesome romance author, with more than 100 books published under various pseudonyms. She publishes several books a year and all are good.

But not all are spectacular.

Like all of Roberts' works, this romance novel is well worth reading and far above what most other romance novelists seem capable of. For Roberts, though, this is nothing special. It isn't Sanctuary, or Born in Fire, or Montanna Sky.

At first I thought I was rereading "Sleeping With the Enemy." It's a better book than that and definitely different, but there are quite a few similarities. It is a damsel in distress novel full of sensuality and peopled by the strong, charming, unusual characters we have come to expect from this author.

Enjoyable, but not hugely memorable the way some of this author's works are.

I wonder what Roberts would be capable of if she limited the number of books she cranked out each year?

Summary: Terrific Romance
Review: Nell Channing has arrived at the Three Sisters Island with an old car and very little money. She is fortunate enough to find a job at the local bookstore cafe. Mia, the owner of the cafe also finds Nell a quiet little cottage to rent.

Nell begins to feel a sense of peace on this Island. After nearly a year of running, she is beginning to believe that her abusive husband, Evan Remington, will not find her. After all, she assumed a new identity after she faked her own death.

While Nell is a swift success at baking for the cafe, she meets Zack Todd, the handsome town sheriff. Though Nell has officially sworn off men, Zack is just too charming to resist. Nell finally divulges some of her secrets to Zack, who assures her that he would never abuse her like the man of her past. Their relationship does become strained when Zack wants to take it a step further, and Nell is sure she can't because she is too afraid of Evan to ever let him know that she is alive and wishes to terminate their marriage.

What a fantastic read! The mystical element of witchcraft and its role in the creation of Three Sisters adds a supernatural element to this novel. Nell's coming of age in her education of witchcraft is cleverly combined with her regaining her confidence after years of abuse.

The love story is poignant and the characters so real that you won't want to put this one down. And the suspense will keep you up late into the night. HEAVEN AND EARTH, the next installment in this series, can't come soon enough.

Summary: Magickal...
Review: Nora Roberts always gives a solid read, even if her books vary between being very good and being outstandingly good. I read this and The Villa, her newest romantic suspense, within a day of each other. And I have to say, this is my favorite of her recent books.

Nell, although understandably skittish, didn't come off as weak or meek, unlike Jude from the Jewels trilogy. She'd been through hell, she was beating herself up for it, and she's getting on with her life, with the help of her new boss and mentor, Mia, who is the town witch.

Thank you, Nora, for not making witchcraft and Wicca silly or unbelievable. While no Wiccans I know can create fire out of thin air or instantly heal a almost-dead plant, the attitudes and philosophies Mia teaches Nell are real and true. At a guess, I would say Nora has a close friend who is Wiccan, and won't let her get away with misrepresenting the beliefs and faiths. Go Nora!

Even if you don't believe in witchcraft and magick, the book is a great character study and a enjoyable read. And gee, I haven't even mentioned how great a hero Sheriff Zach Todd is. And I can't wait for the next book in the trilogy...
