Summary: Enchanting
Review: This is a very good start to a new trilogy for Nora Roberts. There's strength, love, and of course witchcraft! The best is, it has very good dialogue between all the characters. You feel like you're actually on the island and going through all the turmoil that the heroines go through. I seriously cannot wait for the other two books to come out. I'm very curious about Mia and this Sam Logan...

Review: Nora Roberts makes me want to read all day. In this book, she takes us to a lovely place that I just couldn't get enough of. I could see the island and feel it by her book as if I was actually there the whole time I was reading it. It was romantic, charming, and suspenseful. Nora Roberts has a great way of combining all of those elements together in one read. Reading about Nell and her baking and cooking abilities made me want to start baking and cooking too because she made it sound so domestically appealing. There's something to be said about a book that sparks creativity in someone. Truly a joy to read!

Summary: I think this was one of her best!!!!
Review: "Dance Upon the Air" was spectacular. I had the greatest time reading about Nell, Mia, Lulu and especially Ripley...with her uncanny sense about her hidden "talents." Zack was a perfect helping of "man" for Nell's cooking and as for the no-good man she called a husband..well...Zack gives him what he's got coming to him!!!!

Summary: First of the trilogy is a winner.
Review: Helen Remington stages her own death, then creates a new identity. As Nell Channing, she travels in search of a place to call home. Instinct takes her to the Isle of Three Sisters in New England. Soon after her arrival, Nell learns that she is the descendant of one of the Three Sisters, witches, who created the isle in 1692. The two other descendants of the sisters are already on the isle. Only when the three of them are together will they have the power needed to break a curse placed on Isle. Nell falls in love with sheriff, Zach Todd. With Zach's love and the support of her fellow witches, Nell finds the courage to confront her past and claim her future. Dance upon the Air, the first book in the "Three Sisters" trilogy is sure to be a hit with Nora Roberts fans. Once again, this gifted storyteller leaves no doubt that love is the greatest power of all.

Summary: Dance Upon the Air
Review: I have been reading Nora Roberts books for awhile now. I find I am drawn to her series books and her stories about small towns and Ireland. Dance Upon the Air to me, was very up-to-date, romantic and pretty darn hard to put down.

We are seeing so much of the Wikken beliefs coming forth out into the public eye now, (being a parent of a teenage son and a 25yr old daughter I see it up close) To those who bauhf at these practices, I say, nay nay, do not knock what you have not tried. (I have not but I won't condem)

Dance Upon the Air, is a story, and just that. A well written story I must ad. It is another fine specimen of a great set of books to own.

I am anxiously awaiting part 2 and to those of you who have not read this first part....pick this book up and forget about all the worldly hub-bub about witches and gothic things and just enjoy a wonderful story.

I would love to live next to these characters!!! Excellent book, by an excellent Author!!

Summary: This has to be my favorite Roberts novel yet!
Review: I love Nora Roberts; and she doesn't disappoint with "Dance Upon The Air". I read it so quickley that I couldn't believe there wasn't more. I can't wait until the other two! You will love Nell, Mia, and Ripely. Even though it has a magical theme throughout the story, you actually believe it could truley be happening..... Trust me on this one...It's a MUST read! :)

Summary: another Roberts hit
Review: Dance is a delightful quick read, with an simmering sense of impending doom. Nell Channing is an intriguing character, and this reader was definitely fascinated by the heroine refinding her inner strength, and facing up to her fears. My only regret with the book is that the hero was not as well-defined. There were only rare instances when we see things from his point of view, and as a result, I never felt like I got to know him as well as I did Nell.

I found the witchcraft element a bit disconcerting, but it didn't detract from my overall enjoyment of this story. The only thing that prevents me from giving the book five stars is the villian. He seemed almost textbook in his characteristics and motivations, and I know Roberts can do better.

Summary: Looking forward to the next....
Review: Like all Nora Robert's trilogies, I can't wait to read the next installment in the Sister's series. Origional and touching, Ms. Roberts has combined magic and imagination to spin a tale of love and escape, independence and safety.

I loved the book's setting and the characters. Their lifestyle on a tiny island makes us all wish we could live there, dream there. I'll be looking forward to the next book, due out in September.
