Summary: Totally entranced
Review: I loved this book from the very beginning. Nora Roberts truly knows how to spin a tale to make you feel like you are there, in the story. The main character felt like a friend, and I wanted to hug her or comfort her several times. The time flew by while listening to this book, and I was so disappointed when it ended because I wanted it to go on and on .... I can't WAIT for the next book in this series!

Summary: Captivating
Review: I have never read a more uplifting novel. These 3 women are strong, gorgeous and very individual. I really enjoyed my time with them on Three Sisters Island, and I can't wait to go back! The most wonderful part was the accurate, loving and playful way Nora wrote of the Craft. This novel goes a long way toward dispelling the vicious tales that witches are evil, because real witches are just like Mia, Nell and Ripley - all kinds of real wonderful people!

Summary: Wow! What a read!
Review: I really was pleasantly surprised by this book after being so disappointed in the Irish Trilogies but Roberts has managed to whet my appetite with this one. The characters are all believable and although the main focus is the witchcraft that culminates on this island, the book manages to be a marvelous blend of mysticism and contemporary life. I can't wait to get my hands on the next book...

Review: If you like mystery, suspence and romance books then you will like "Dance Upon The Air". As always Nora has out done herself again.

Summary: Back on track!
Review: I must admit, however reluctantly, that Nora Robert's last few books have not been up to the standard I have come to expect. Probably due to the fact that my expectations have soared to such extravagant levels that you'd have to be a demi-god to fulfill them. Well, I'm happy to say we're back on track with this book - for sure!

'Dance Upon the Air' is the perfect blend of suspense, emotion and magic together with a wonderful setting and a FABULULOUS set of characters. Three very different women, each with a deeply ingrained inner strength brought together by legend, destiny and... magic. That's Magic with a capital 'M', by the way. As an avid fan of 'Charmed', this book struck an even deeper chord in me.

For me, the strongest element of NR's books have always been her characters. Srong, memorable, 'human' characters that make you laugh or cry or conk over the head with something because they're being stubborn and blind....!

'Dance Upon the Air' is no different. If you're looking for a book that's heavy and serious, bemoaning the fate of humanity in these modern times, leaving you with feelings of guilt and depression, not to mention a pounding headache - this book's not for you.

If you want to be swept away on a literary journey rich in legend, magic and romance where the possibilities are endless - Come on in.... and join the club. :0)

Summary: Dance upon the Air
Review: If you are a Nora Roberts fan as I am, you will love this book...the first of a trilogy..it is an example of Nora Robert's fabulous understanding of the basic research done on her topics. Witch craft is the center of this book, as Wine was in her wonderful "The Villa". Magic is the watchword and terrific character development makes this a first rate page turner. I couldn't put it down...and was disapointed that "Heaven and Earth"..the 2nd of the trilogy wasn't available yet. You'll love Mia, the town witch and Nell, her student and Ripley and Nell and Zach's relationship..buy it, you'll love it. Once you read one Nora Roberts you will want them all...anjd she is a varitable book factory!

Summary: Novel or "Intro to Witchcraft 101" ?
Review: I have read many of Nora Robert's books and have usually found them reasonably enjoyable. They are well written and tell a good story. Actually, Dance Upon the Air is also well written, very well written....however, it lifts up and glamorizes the Art of Wiccan practices, so that basically, it is a primer in "how to". This was a surprise to me...as I Christian, I found this highly unacceptable and dangerous to the uninformed reader. What was most disturbing to me, was the beautifully seductive picture drawn, which could very easily entice someone into thinking these types of practices were not only acceptable but beneficial. I suggest to readers that they need to be aware of the content of this book. I would not encourage anyone to read it...I was saddened and disapointed to find this in a novel meant for entertainment.

Review: Wonderful book, I could not put it down. I read it in one day and am searching the net right now to see if the second book "HEAVEN AND EARTH" is available yet. I really love Nora Roberts book and I have over 50, but this is the first one I ever wrote a review!

Summary: A Real Feel Good Novel
Review: At the time I read this, I was down with the flu and rejected three other mystery novels because they were so gruesome and viloent they made me sicker. When my husband brought this home from the grocery store, I was delighted with the story and setting. The entire novel gave me such a feeling of lightness and hope that I loved every minute of it. It's a real Cinderella story with a different twist. The witchcraft content is accurate and playful. Don't miss this good read. I can't wait for the next two books!
