Summary: Superb Piece of Fiction
Review: The Eyes of the Dragon was a superb work of fiction, that only Stephen King could write in such vivid detail. This story pits two princes against each other , through the influence of Flagg (who laters shows up in the Darktower IV : Wizard and Glass). Excellent style, and story that won't let you put it down until it over.

Summary: Very Gothic and interesting.
Review: The book showed a good view of the dark period and the fight between good versus evil. And how close the evil actually comes to wining. Actually, the evil doesn't really lose.

Summary: an unusual fantasy that is so deeply cool
Review: This is actually the only Stephen King book I have ever read, and I read it because, well, someone just sort of dropped it into my hands and said, "If you like fantasy, READ THIS." With some trepidation, I did. Whoa, Nelly. From the start, with his interesting way of just announcing heart-stopping twists and then going back to explain them, King's prose grabs you and pulls you into to the fantasy kingdom of Delain. I had no idea King could be so adept at character generation, but the people in his novel are wonderfully alive, and, whatever they're doing, whether it's peeking through the eyes of dragon to watch the villain bring the king his poisoned wine, dog-sledding over a snow-covered landscape, or hatching a daring plan to escape imprisonment from a high tower, you're WITH these characters all the way. And, baby, let me just tell you, the wizard Flagg is just the coolest villain I have ever had the pleasure to read about. He's crafty, he's vengeful, he's soooo deliciously diabolical. Well. I was pleasantly surprised to have been proven wrong about Stephen King and I will gladly read his other works, now. And for "Dragon"...if you like fantasy, READ THIS!

Summary: Great fantasy/horror novel by Stephen King!
Review: Did you think Stephen King could only write horror novels? Well, you are wrong.

This novel was very exciting and kept me reading for hours without stopping! He made a great job describing the scene.

This is the best fantasy novel I've read. Although it is a little scary...

Summary: C. S. Lewis, eat your heart out!
Review: I'm going to make this very simple. Stephen King today is the world's bestselling novelist, which means he has made more money than any other author (yes, that means Dean Koontz, Danielle Steel, Anne Rice and John Grisham) but I'm telling you as Chicago Tribune book critic which has read all of "The Master"'s work, besides Christine this is Stephen King's best ever work! Let me give you a brief summary. Peter, the prince of Delain (no this story is not in Maine), has been accused of murdering his father, King Roland, something he never did. Now his little brother Thomas has become the king of Delain, he has no idea what he's doing FLAGG (yes, this is the man from The Dark Tower and The Stand), the magician tells him everything to do. But Peter, very wisely, comes up with an idea, he's going to do what he has been longing to do, he's going to escape from The Needle (the jail), and he is going to try to destroy the evil FLAGG. Will he succeed? Will he become king of Delain, which he was suppose to do long ago? Will everyone believe him when he says the truth? --Stephen King's second best novel ever, take it from me, a true reviewer.

Summary: Haunting, entertaining, a good read!!!
Review: I read the book four years ago and it continues to be one of my personal favorites of Stephen King. I reccomend it for those who may enjoy a good fairy tale more than a horror story. Easy to read, desc riptive and entertaining!!! I also reccomend "The Stand", "Different Seasons", and "The Green Mile".

Summary: By far, the best book I've read!
Review: To be honest, I'm not a big Stephen King fan, but I absolutely LOVED this book! I wish I could find another book like this one.

Summary: King writing fantasy??? Surely...
Review: This question is probably what many King fans thought to themselves when they heard about this book. But I can assure you that this book is a gem. King shows no lacking in writing fantasy as opposed to horror, and has produced a gripping book. Definitely worth a read.

Summary: This book is GREAT.
Review: I've read it twice. It's amazing how well King describes things. He's my favorite writer. This book is nothing like the others, but what they all have in common is: They're brilliant. I can assure you that you'll love it.

Summary: A Masterfully Created Fantasy
Review: I loved how this story of a royal family's life was created from the endlessly creative mind of Stephen King. This was a required book for my summer reading this year and I thought i would read it just for the fun of it. I have never read Stephen King before, and I went in thinking i was going to have nightmares the rest of my life from reading one of his books. I am so glad i was wrong. This story showed how the mind of Stephen King can create wonderful stories that arent all scary. I was grasped by the plot of this story and I didnt let go until the last page. I felt like i was right there growing up w/ Peter and Thomas, looking through the eyes of the dragon, feeling the horrible truth from being accused for a crime you didnt commit, and feeling the suspense facing your only fear in life. I felt a hatred for Flagg which could very well have been stronger than that of Peter and finally Thomas. I felt the heat on my body as the fire engolfed Roland and finally caused his demise. This story took me on one of the most adventerous emotional roller coasters i have ever ridden w/ a book before. I started the roller coaster not knowing what to expect and came out of it wiser and more experienced in the literary sense. Whew!!!! What a tale!!!!
