Rating: Summary: One of his best!!! Review: Steven King proves that he is not only a great writer but a wonderful story teller. You feel as if you are setting around a campfire and he is telling you the story. He has recaptured a lost art and shared it with the world.
Rating: Summary: eyes of the dragon was great! Review: i read the book and loved it. when it finally ended i wished it had gone on forever. Flagg was my favorite character in the book because he was dark and mysterious. The ending about thomas shooting the arrow through flaggs eye was great. This book had lots of suspence and kept me on the edge of my seat. at first i thought it would be another dumb book that had no meaning but it was great. also i loved the part where peter found the note and locket about a king of the past and figured out how flagg was hundreds of years old. i will read it again and again till i die then i will be buried with it in my casket! chow!
Rating: Summary: My first fantasy book Review: The book The Eyes of the Dragon was pretty good. It was the very first book of fantasy that I ever read, and it got me hooked. Now, I have read many others like Terry Brooks, and Robert Jordan, and feel that King's book was a pretty good try. But not the best.
Rating: Summary: Fantastic!!! Review: This is my all time favorite book...the way it is written, how you become so consumed by a charater that when he goes to go back to any other your almost upset. I have read this book four times and I will most likely read it a few more times.
Rating: Summary: the ULTIMATE sci/fi book Review: ive only read a few stephen king books but ive read an immense amount of sci/fi/horror/fantasy books and this one intrigued me the most by far. i read it so long ago i dont remember the content (im going to reread it very soon) but i recomend it more than any other book ive read...READ IT!!
Rating: Summary: fairytale by a horror-writer, eyes of the dragon Review: Steven King is mostly known for his excellent ability to write horror-stories. But nevertheless his tale "The Eyes of the Dragon" is one of the best I know. It can't be compared with 'it' or 'the Stand', but it has the same quality. King knows how to build up tension and curiousity in the readers mind. Once started, you can hardly stop reading the book. It tells about friendship, a bad magician, the relationship of two brothers and has a good ending! That's just the stuff wonderful fairytales are made out of. I recommend it strongly to all others!!!!
Rating: Summary: I don't know what the old folks say but, I love this book!!! Review: The Eyes of the Dragon is a wonderful book!! It is a break from all the blood and guts but is still able to hold my attion!! True, this book is not a typical Stephen King blood fest horror but, once you start you can't put it down. If your can't stomach all the blood but want a good book I whole heartedly recemend this book!!!! I love Stephen King, he is da BOMB!!!!!!!!!
Rating: Summary: Read it 8 times and still love it!!! Review: Well, what can I say? This book was absolutely fabulous. I had no idea that Flagg wasn't just another character pulled fromm the air until I just recently read The Stand (another fabulous King novel, by the way) and now I really find the Stand that much more thrilling b/c I know something that the characters don't. I recommend this book to all who have ever loved something mystical, adventurous, dangerous, and fanciful.
Rating: Summary: Spectacular King Review: This is calssic King. The story starts off a tiny bit boring, but the last 20 pages or so are a total climax. If you are a King fan, you might recognize the vilain-- Flagg. Don't miss this one.
Rating: Summary: Exellent departure from Kings "normal" theme! EX! book! Review: This book is a Must for King lovers! It is a depature from his usuall work but I'ts Fabulous none the less! Take a chance and get this book for your library!
