Summary: Hands down, Koontz's best work
Review: If one novel stands out as Dean Koontz's best novel, this would be the one. Filled with suspense, intense situations, and excellent characters, Watchers is an excellent tale of pure terror. Fast-paced and masterfully-written, Dean Koontz leads us along a thrilling sequence of events that become more and more gripping as the novel continues. The Outsider is one of his most frightening creations, and Einstein is his most lovable. You feel for every charcter in this book, and the ending is perfect. An absolute must-read.

Summary: This is by far the best!
Review: Watchers is the best book out there. By Dean Koontz or other wise. If you have just started reading Dean Koontz, or haven't read this one yet, read it

Summary: Gripping, Emotional Love and Suspense Story
Review: Watchers is about love, loneliness, fear, tragedy, the wrongs of genetic engineering/humans playing God, and, of course, horror and suspense. Watchers is about a man who has had a horrible past, Travis Cornell, who thinks that anybody he gets close to dies. It is also about Nora Devon, a woman who has been kept isolated from the world by Aunt Violet, a character we learn to hate. Also in the cast are a superintelligent dog, a deadly human-made beast, a hitman, a lawyer, and two NSA agents. Watchers is by far one of the finest pieces of work ever printed. Dean Koontz shows us that he is much more than a horror/suspense writer. While keeping suspense at a maximum, Koontz tells us a gripping tale about friendship. Some of the characters are so charming that we wish they were real, while some are just the scum of the earth. Watchers pulses and overflows with Koontz's God-given talent for suspense, humor, and flat-out great storylines. Read it as soon as possible!

Summary: Quick Rave
Review: By far my favorite book of all time. I was gripped from the first chapter many years ago, and the characters have become a part of me. This sounds odd, but Koont'z characters in this book seem so real that life seems a disappointment when you put the book down. By far the best of Dean's works, I reccommend this to all friends, family and even strangers such as yourself

Summary: GRIPPING!
Review: I say "gripping" because I can't put the book down. Ordered it through Amazon a little while ago and it's AWESOME! Better than "Icebound." If you like Cussler and Clancy you'll love Koontz

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Fall in love with the characters!
Review: This is one book you will not be able to put down. If you normally associate Dean R. Koontz as being close to Stephen King, this is the one book that will definitely change your mind. In this book, you will meet a dog who has superhuman intelligence. This dog becomes a character that you will fall in love with. Then there is the opposite of the dog which is evil. You'll read what happens between these two characters and enjoy the mystery and affection of some of the other characters also included in this masterpiece. This has got to be one of the best books I have ever read. Even if you are not into horror/fiction, you will enjoy this book. The romance reader will enjoy this book too (my mom sure did) and you will too!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: The best book that was ever written by Dean R. Koontz!
Review: This was my first (I've read all his books!) and favorite book. The story is not only compelling but heartwarming as well. It mixes horror and science fiction (fact?) with people who are very real with believable problems and takes you on an amazing adventure. If you were interested in Dean Koontz and want to try one of his books, this is the one!

Summary: My Idea of the Perfect Book
Review: I think Watchers is about as close as you can come to a perfect book. It's scary, it's sad, it's uplifting, it's even funny at times. You'll love all of the characters (even the "bad guys", and that includes the murderous beast and heartless assassin) by the end of the book, if only because you love to hate them. Dean Koontz seems to be great at making all his characters seem human, rather than plot elements. And if you don't love Einstein by the end of the book, you're a heartless loner who hates the world. I haven't read any other Dean Koontz novels (although I'm starting Strangers), but I can't imagine that the other ones could be any better. By the way, if you're thinking about giving this book a pass because "it's not your type of book", let me assure you that whatever type of book is "yours", Watchers is it. It has something for everyone. BUY THIS BOOK.
