Summary: Frightfully Fantastic!!
Review: Granted, I'm a sucker for a good dean Koontz book, but come on, we must for the most part agreee that this is one of Koontz's finest! I found this book to be creative and highly intense. This book was non stop - sometimes funny (I laughed out loud and yet twice it brought me to tears!). I reccomend this book to anyone and to myself to read again, and I don't read too many books again. A winner!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Wonderful, witty, frighteningly possible.
Review: My very first and most favorite Koontz novel. I've been hooked on this author ever since. I've read and own every one of his novels, but Watchers remains the most beloved and most often read of them all

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A must-read!!
Review: If you have never read Dean Koontz before, this is the book to read first! It's a stay-up-all-night-because-you-can't-put-it-down book! The story will keep you engrossed till the very end, and you'll be sorry to finish it; it's that good! For those of us familiar with Koontz, we know that this book is the BEST

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: By far the best book I have ever read!
Review: I loved this book. I became a die-hard Dean Koontz fan after this book and although I have enjoy most all of them, I don't think he has written anything better than "Watchers". I loved Einstein and wish I had a dog that smart. I also rented the movie when it came out and as we all know, most movies do not do books justice but I still enjoyed the chance to relive the book through the movie. I think Dean should bring back Enstein for some other books

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: The best novel about heart-touching friendships
Review: A book about friendship between a dog and a man (and a woman). Very emotianal, yet thrilling. Action packed horror. Stephen Serto

Summary: Koontz's best ever
Review: As far as I'm concerned, it's anyone's best ever. Watchers is the best book I've ever read, and I can't honestly say I'm exaggerating. The characters are well done, the plot is drawn out to perfection, and the storyline never breaks too far off the subject. This is a must read for any Koontz fan, thriller fan, horror fan, or even any book fan.

Summary: You must read this book!
Review: "Watchers" was the first Koontz book that I ever read...while I have enjoyed all of his other books, this one was definitely his best

Summary: The good, The bad, and the outsider.
Review: A superbly written and researched book, Dean Koontz brings to life the latest breakthroughs in recombinant D.N.A science. This book is as good as it gets when it comes to horror, while keepping you feeling warm and snuggley inside.

The characters really come to life in "watchers" He made me believe in the characters and there struggles throughout the book. I felt a bond with the characters that is seldom achieved by writers today, I would recommend this book to ANYONE.

I have read thousands of books, and have read "watchers" over 20 times, and it keeps getting better. My favorite book of all time!!

Way to go dean!

Summary: One of the best
Review: Koontz takes us for a seat of the pants journey, where the fear never abates and the trust never wavers.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: WOW! Suspense-ory overload
Review: I was truly surprised by this novel. I had never read any of his works before, and decided that this was a good story to begin with. I was truly frightened in many parts. Of course reading the novel on a dark and stormy day, while the power was flickering on and off, was probably not the best idea!! I thought that the Outsider was a wonderful creation. The way that he is described made him life-like and the plausible result of a medical experiment. Yet, at the same time I was hating him for what he was doing, I was mourning for him. His degree of self-hate was amazing. And this degree made all of his actions, however horrible, at least understandable. All of the characters, from Einstein the Golden Retreiver to the Outsider are fully and richly developed. This depth of character development heightened the intense suspense factor. I was hooked from the first paragraph all the way through the last word. So enthralled that I finished it in one afternoon. Actually, I read the last bit by flashlight since the power finally did go out. I reccomend this book entirely. This is intellegent horror. It scares you, but on a level that is above other Stephen King-like novels, because this could happen. The Outsider could be out there now!!!! Feel free to contact me and share your views at my e-mail above. Thanks
