Summary: This is the most touching story I have ever read.
Review: Full of suspense, tension, and description, I think that Watchers is the best piece of literature Mr. Koontz has ever written. This book is extremely emotional; the passion between a man and a woman who find themselves together is unbelievable events; the hardships an intelligent dog and his master endure in many horrifying and dangerous moments; but especially, the monster which hunts the dog, and whispers, "Kill me" when death awaits it while staring down the barrel of a gun.

Summary: This proves that Koontz has great ideas but can't write.
Review: I don't want this to come across too badly, because he has great ideas and this story was absolutely incredbile. I read it straight through in one night and cried and it took about a week to get it out of my head. However, my biggest problem with the author is his writing style. He has great ideas and not a clue on how to pen them. His descriptions are long winded and often his characters are so one-dimensional that it is easy to tell from the start who is good, bad, lives, dies, etc. The story in this is imaginitive and touching and I would recommend it to just about anyone, but it seems that whenever I read a book by him I know the ending too soon and I've sat through way too many pages of descriptions of a simple, everyday town. My take on it is this--for a good story, pick up this book, have fun with it, be touched by it. For quality writing go somewhere else.

Summary: This book was so good, I named my dog Einstein!
Review: ...After the wonderfully human-like dog in the book. Dean Koontz is one of my favorite authors. I love his way of presenting such outrageous subjects, but making it totally believable! This book is no exception. Dean Koontz has a way of weaving several genres (horror, sci-fi, romance, action, etc.) together and creating a masterpiece. This is his best book, ever!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: On my list of all time favorites!
Review: This was the first Dean Koontz book that I read and it definitely was not that last. It covered everything from romance, to science fiction, to horror; with many sub plots that kept the book even more interesting. It was an epic book with a satisfying conclusion. If you are a first time Koontz reader, pick up this book. If not read it anyway.

Summary: The only book I can read over and over again.
Review: I read this book at least once a year, It draws you into the story, The charaters are real. A Great book, Highly recommend it!!!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: This is too heartwarming to be a thriller - it made me cry
Review: This is one of the few Koontz books I've read twice (Hideaway being the other I think). Being an animal lover, I adored Einstien and was rather impressed by Dr Keene. All the characters are well developed and the storyline is just awesome. I can't really find the right words for this book, just read it.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A TWISTED STORY OF SCIENCE GONE WRONG
Review: THE FIRST OF DEAN KOONTZ BOOK'S I'VE READ AND CERTAINLY NOT THE LAST. THE WAY HE MADE ALL THE CHARACTERS COME TOGETHER WAS EXCELLENTLY DONE. I DON'T KNOW HOW HE CAME UP WITH THE TWO ANIMALS AND FIT THEM TOGETHER. SOME PARTS OF THE STORY ARE DISTURBING BUT NOT ENOUGH TO MAKE SOME ONE PUT THE BOOK DOWN. IF YOU SORT OF LIKE TO READ THIS IS A GREAT BOOK TO READ. IT'S NOT TO LONG AND IT WILL KEEP YOU READING. A WELL DISURVED FIVE STAR RATING.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Great for fans of dogs and suspense!
Review: After I read this book, I kept watching my dogs for small signs that they MIGHT be more intelligent than I always thought. No such luck. The characters are totally engrossing, and I can say with all honesty that this is the only book other than To Kill a Mockingbird that has ever made me cry.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: The possibility of the unknown
Review: This book was a very insightful look at government funded projects and the danger and chaos that can result from the mishandling of these projects and the hidden agendas that the public is kept in the dark about. It is also a story, like all of his books, about the power of love, hope, and courage that can overcome all obstacles. I have read it 4 times and cried in the same place all 4 times. It's a shame the movies are always so lousy.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Heart Stopper
Review: One of the best books that I've ever heard. The dog is thesmartest. You can see him in your mind.
