Rating: Summary: Favorite book of all time Review: I have owned Watchers from the first day it was out in book stores. I've read it so many times that the cover and pages have become worn and faded which has caused me to buy another copy. Nora blooms in front of your eyes, Travis learns to love, Einstein finds a family and the best friends he could ever have, and the Outsider finally finds peace. A suspensful and riveting novel sure to keep you at the edge of your seats. Once you start you won't be able to stop.
Rating: Summary: AWESOME!! Review: I have read several Dean Koontz books, and am a very big fan. Then I read Watchers; and became a HUGE fan. I could not put it down. The book is so wonderfully written, you feel like you are right there with the characters. I felt so many different emotions while reading this book: happiness, sadness, love, hate, & sheer terror. Mr. Koontz has outdone himself. I love this book so much, I have read and re-read it over and over. Just want to say THANKS Mr. Koontz, for the greatest horror novel ever written.!!!

Rating: Summary: Best of the Best Review: I have read about all of Dean Koontz's books, so he is has not wrote a bad book yet. Some are slow starters and some are alittle long in detail. This book is one of his best. I say everyone should read it because I could not put it down. This is a good book nomatter who you are because when the book is over you are still wanting to know what else happens to them.
Rating: Summary: couldn't put it down even during ultrasound! Review: You can imagine what a page turner this novel was that I couldn't keep it down even when I was undergoing an ultrasound! I so vividly remember that day when my parents thought the pain I was having was because of appendicitus and took me to the hospital but I just couldn't keep this book down. It is almost as if you were a part of all that was going on in the plot, your feelings on a roller coaster ride, feeling sympathies for the bad guy (you have to read to find out). The Einstien's character is one of the amazing portrayals I've ever come across. The movie later on never did justice to the book, so please don't watch the movie! Oh yeah, the reason I picked up Koontz was because of the relatively smaller size novels he writes when compared to Stephen Kings. Back in undergrad school as EE major, we were really short of time and there just wasn't enough time to read mega King's novels. A friend of mine handed me this copy of Koontz and wow! I was a believer in Koontz from that day onwards. Another thing I love about Koontz is the fact that his story develops from the very first page and sorts of grips you right there. Perhaps this was the best of Koontz I've read so far.
Rating: Summary: One of the Best Review: This book was one of the first I ever read by Koontz. It seems to have been so for many but not for all. If you haven't picked it up then please do by all means. The characters in this book are rich and wholely believeable. Einstein could very well be the dog next door that looks at you with that almost human expression in his eyes as if to say " I know what you're thinking." Terror and suspence riddle this novel but as in all dark things humor is neccessary to break the tension and there's plenty of that too. Read this book if you love Koontz, and if you've never read him then this is a good book to start with.
Rating: Summary: Jedi Gril Gets the Chills Review: There has been a sin against god. The scientists at Banodynehad created life, and what horrible life it is. They created twocreatures, an extremely intelligent golden retriever and a mutilatedkiller. As Travis is trying to find himself in the woods, he comesacross the dog there. The dog saves him and he adopts the dog andnames him Einstein. What happens after that? Well read the book andfind out. This book will keep you on the edge of your seat untilyou've read every page of Travis and Einstein's adventures. Koontzhas a marvelous way of taking everything, no matter how small, andrelating it to the main story. ... The way Koontz writes this book youhave no idea what will happen till the very end. Read Watchers for achilling ride thorough ever present struggle between good andevil. Horror
Rating: Summary: Koontz can do what King wished he could do Review: hi If only Stephen King could write like this. This is one fine story.I have found the difference between Koontz and King is imagination.King has never shown an original thought in anything he has written.everything of Dean's is original.
