Summary: Beauty's Release
Review: A disappointing end to a trilogy of books. I would recommend it for a person who has read the previous two because you will want closure. But, I expected more pazzaz for an ending. It also does not go as fast as the first two. Has some parts that seem to be just thrown in to make the book longer.

Summary: Why, oh, why did I purchase this series?
Review: Although, book three did find the main characters in new locales, Rice really missed an opportunity for Beauty to take a lead role in her personal development and face the issues of female mutilation that she was introduced to with a harem lover. Unfortantly, this storyline was sacrificed in order to end the book. Ms. Rice's abilities to provide period & emotional detail has and what continues to draw me to her writing. What could have been a magnificant retelling of a classic fairytale became a three book snooze fest. I was sadly disappointed in this series.

Summary: Best of the trilogy...
Review: Anne Rice has always been able to dazzle her readers with incredibly descriptive settings, characters and emotions. This book is no exception. She travelled into uncharted territory and emerged with a series that captures every reader and challenges them to explore their sexuality in a place where even the very wrong seems right and it is acceptable to have desires that society frowns on. This book will change your view on sexuality and make the black and white areas gray. Never have I read a book as eloquently written on just a taboo subject.

Summary: Deliciously suprising
Review: Anne Rice has always been good at making the reader feel as though she were the character, and this book does it! This book for people who like trashy romance novels, but want more. Its not as good as the first one, but entertaining nonetheless.

Summary: The Beauty Trilogy - A Clever idea ... but falls short.
Review: Anne Rice was on the right track with her refreshing notion to put an erotic spin to a beloved fairy tale, yet unfortunately, fell short of my expectations. For instance, none of the characters' personalities ever quite fully developed, leaving little chance to connect with any of them. The story was flat with no spark, no passion, no ability to "feel" anything other than, "Oh, no! Not another spanking!" I give Anne 3 stars out of respect for her as an author and her clever approach, but there is so much more to erotica than beatings. For those of you who would truly love to experience erotica at it's best, I highly recommend Miranda Reigns' newly released novel, CyberWebs. Miranda's descriptive writing and vivid imagination will transport you into the heart of the story, allowing you to see, hear, smell, taste and feel all that Miranda does and has done to her.

Summary: Almost but not quite
Review: Anne Rice, almost, but not quite captured something with her unique idea. Her new approach to the story was different and intriguing but fell flat with the lack of character, creativity and common sense. It would have been a wonderful read. I would have expected more from Anne Rice.

Summary: Beauty's Release is truly Wonderful, Raunchy, and RAW !!!
Review: Anne Rice, under the name A.N. Roquelaure, completes the third and final book of her erotic Sleeping Beauty series in this elegantly written book entitled Beauty's Release. This book drips with sexuality and only the boldest readers of an adult nature should dare even to glance at its cover ! The story itself deals with topics of love, lust, and the balances and conflicts of dominance/submission. Like never before, this book destroys all social norms dealing with sexuality and at times will cause even the boldest of readers to experience rapid heart palpitations of steamy desire. Beauty's Release, as the rest of the erotic Sleeping Beauty adventure series, is truly a masterpiece in its own right

Summary: A Great End to a Great Series
Review: Beauty's Release is the last of the wonderful series. The trilogy covers all elements of submission in erotic love, from the most brutal punishments to the most subtle domination......I would advise everyone to get the entire series and read the books in order. Wonderful pornographic writing. A real treat for fans of erotica. Beauty's Release is perhaps my least favorite of the trilogy, but saying my least favorite of this trilogy is a bit like saying my least favorite chocolate bar.....still really great. The sultan's palace takes the eroticisim to new heights, and the conclusion to the story is a truly lovely one
