Review: "SINGLE WHITE VAMPIRE" by entertaining writer Lynsay Sands is like no other vampire story you've ever read before or will ever read again! The characters are entertaining, the dialogue at times had me ROTFLMAO (roughly translated rolling on the floor laughing my shapely fanny off, smile), and the plot was absoulting captivating! I had a very good time with this book! One fantastic writer...One fantastic story! A story not to be missed! (Highly Entertaining Novel!)

Review: This is the first book in a while that I have read with a grin thru the whole thing. This book was great! The words codpiece and condoms will forever bring those two hilarious episodes to mind. This is the first book I have ever read by this author and it's not going to be the last if her others are as top notch as Single White Vampire. Definitely don't miss this!

Summary: Awesome Read - What a treat
Review: This book was really a treat. For a romance novel, the characters are really developed and you are extremely disappointed when this book ends. I really hope that the author turns this into a series. Her writing style is new, exciting, light, and fun. I couldn't stop myself from laughing out loud. I look forward to reading more of her books.

Summary: Smokin Debbies...
Review: I LOVED this book!!! It was funny as heck. Everyother line had me laughing out loud. The title of my review is MY FAV line of the entire book. I like the interaction between the Hero and his family members, and her reaction to finding out what he really is. I also liked that he was not an all knowing all seeing powerful kind of vamp. He was more human than any other vamp in a book I have seen. Oh but the sex is still amazing w/him apparantly so its all right. I recommend this book to anyone looking for a good, funny , fantasy read. And even tho I am married, I wouldn't mind meeting a SWV myself lol

Review: this was one of the best romance novels i have ever read. It didn't follow normal plot lines. SWV was hilarious, i have laughing out loud at tons of scenes. Lynsay Sands is so awesome. I read this book in one sitting, i just couldn't put it down. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Summary: Laugh out loud funny
Review: Coming from a fan of Christine Feehan and her Dark series I did not think I would like this book as much as I discovered that I did! Luc and Kate are by far two of my favorite character's that I have read in recent memory. The humor that Lynsay uses in this book is laugh out loud funny. Some of the situations that she has Luc and Kate get into were so amusing that I had to re-read the sections just to make sure I did not miss anything! Wait till you read about Kate's first day at Luc's house. It's a riot!
I have to say Ms. Sands sucked me into the lives of these to characters from the first page and kept me ingrossed until the last page. I was disappointed that it had to end! I hope she will continue with these great characters and the side characters that were introduced in this book because they are in a world that I would love to read about again.
If you are looking for lighthearted vampire tales then this is the book for you. If you are looking for something dark then just keep shopping. But I highly recommend you give this a read you may enjoy it as much as I did!

Review: Luc started by writing historical books that have been well received by universities, in which academia applauded his eye for detail as if he were there; which he was. Recently, he has written three "fictional" accounts of romances that are actually biographies of family members. Last year Luc's long time editor passed away replaced by his assistant Kate Leever. She wants Luc to go on tour, but he ignores her, feeling she will not use him to make her career. However, Kate arrives at his home to push her position in person, believing a tour would push sales to stratospheric levels. However, his traveling phobia has more to do with a certain vampiric condition that makes him need to hide somewhat from the public, though Kate pushes him to attend the RT convention. Soon Luc wants to come out of the vampire closet because he has the craving to write one more happy ending love story starring himself and his editor. SINGLE WHITE VAMPIRE is an amusing satirical tale that pokes fun at the romance book industry. The story line leaves no book uncovered as it barrels though icons in a humorous manner. The lead couple is a charming duet who finds love in the obvious locale, the annual RT convention. Romance readers and industry insiders will apreciate this tale that ironically spoofs the genre that has brought acclaim to author Lynsay Sands. Harriet Klausner

Summary: Made me laugh like I'd been smokin debbies :D
Review: I loved this book. I bought it to fill in time until another book I wanted was coming out. I was pleasantly surprised. Lucien and Kate are so funny. I do have a question. Are there really books about the other characters or was that just somethin that added to the story. Anyway, I reccomend this to anyone looking for a nice funny romantic romance that just happens to involve vamps. Some of the scenes in this book are laugh out loud funny so be warned before reading in public.

Summary: Not your average vampire
Review: "Tortured, brooding, all-too serious" definitely describes the mainstream books that are out now about vampires. The constant fighting, killing, partying, I'm-so-bored vampires one might read about in Anne Rice or Laurell K Hamilton books is absent in Lynsay's fun read. It's nice to know that with this series, we're going to see a different kind of vampire. I also really liked the fact that Lynsay mentioned two of my favorite shows "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" (which is no longer on the air) and "Angel". I can't wait for the other books to come out.
