Summary: This book made me reclaim my sensuality after cancer
Review: I had just had a year's bout with Ovarian Cancer, Stage 2C. After 2 sugeries, 8 hospitalizations, and chemo, a friend handed me the A. .N. Roquelaure triolgy and I went to the Mendocino coast to my favorite inn with my fireplace and ocean view. I lit the fire and started reading around 6:00 PM. The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty was unbelievably erotic. I went through a lot of my landlord's firewood. Beauty's Punishment punished me by making me stay up until 2 AM. Of course, the novel inspired other activities. In the morning, my favorite landlord and landlady came by to clean. I was up. They asked me; "How did you sleep"? I went on to describe the readings and the eyes of James began to twinkle. I then told them that had a man been wondering past my door around 2 AM, after an invitation acceptance, he would have been an "endangered species". This series made me realize that human senuality is more than interaction, it has a lot to do with fantasy, attitude and passion. I always wondered about my friend who gave me this book. What was she trying to say!

Summary: Whining and Whipping
Review: Sexual seduction and fantasy at it's best! In today's world, we need to indulge in some sort of fantasy-like atmosphere. If stress is knocking at your door and you love reading, then take 'Sleeping Beauty' in your hands and get lost in a fun and different world.

Summary: Hot! Another winner for Rice.
Review: If you like no-nonsense fiction that does not hold back, this novel is the way to go. It will provide an escape from your sexual norms and break the boundaries of your everyday inhibitions. My only critisism is Rice is slightly unrealistic when she didn't need to be. A more practical approach to the human psyche would have been great. It also could have used a slight bit more tradgedy. Overall though, the book is awesome.

Summary: YIKES!!!!
Review: It was great the first time I read it but then after a couple more readings I found it very disturbing. Far too much spanking! Every page someone was getting it and that's too unrealistic for me.

Summary: Sleeping Beauty gets to know her Prince in many ways
Review: Very funny and even, at times, exciting sequel to the age-old fairytale of Sleeping Beauty. A prince finds her and wakes her not by kissing her, but rather by taking her virginity. He then rides her home and teaches her how to behave. This makes her very happy, and her buttocks very sore.

Summary: It's disgusting, perverted....I loved it!
Review: Oh my gosh...never in my life have I read such a perversion of the English language. It made me sick to my stomach, and at the same time made me laugh aloud. THE CLAIMING OF SLEEPING BEAUTY is a true gem of literature, I recomend it to anyone with a strong stomach!

Summary: Read the Reviews...You'll get a hoot out of them
Review: Sure, this book got quite a large amount of 1 star, but for some weird reason, that's what made me buy this book. All that horny cheesy erotica and paddles made this book seem quite interesting to read. It sure isn't the average AR book, but I got a kick out of it.

Summary: Wish I could give ZERO stars...
Review: This book had all the literary charm of Hustler magazine or an internet porno site. Only some internet porn sites actually bother to portray S&M properly. This entire story was pretty much a waste of paper and I really mourn the trees that had to die to print this out. Anne did wonderfully with the vampires and she should just ~stick~ to them. The fact is that S&M is about the giving and sharing of power, not the forcible taking of power from someone without their input. And that was pretty much the entire scope of the tale. This was not erotica, this was a sixteen year old males perverted fantasy of having and doing to a woman anything that he wished with little or no consideration for her. The entire thing is borderline rape and glorified denegration of people for the sake of a power trip. I have read many books, but this is the ~first~ that I actually threw in the fireplace to remove from my house. I just wish I'd known ahead of time to save my time and money. There are far better novels for Erotica and S&M out there, I'd suggest people forget this one and go looking for them instead.

Summary: WOW, this was crap!
Review: I bought this book because I have an interest in S&M... but it was SO repetitive and utterly boring that just finishing it was an amazing feat! The very fact that "Beauty" could be Soooo shocked at her predicaments, even though it was basically the same tedious, unimaginative torture page after page, became quite a joke to me. The book starts out nicely but quickly becomes one long Y-A-W-N .... You might as well put it down after the first few chapters, because believe me, at that point ... you HAVE read it all. Save your money and try reading some erotica with a little imagination, intrigue, and a plot . like "Topping From Below"

Summary: The worst erotic work I've read
Review: ive read all three of her Beauty books and they are simply horrible...she was so into making the work as hot as possible, she forgot to include a story!!! Exit to Eden was a wonnderful work..what happened??? There is alot more to S/M erotica than tears and whips...how did the characters really feel..???
