Summary: Not for virgin eyes!
Review: When I bought this book it was because the name Anne Rice was on the front. I had no idea what it was about. When I began reading, I was instantly timid. I thought "Should I continue reading this?" Some of the content was appalling but I could not put it down. I read the entire thing in one night. It turned out to be one of those books that are a naughty pleasure you give yourself. I am going to get the sequels as you read this.

Summary: Intersting
Review: I read this book as a joke with one of my friends. I was in a children lit's class studying fairy tales and I decided to read the book. I have been a fan Anne Rice for sometime now, and I was not surprised what I read. Over I like the book it goes well, with fairy tales for adults. I would reconmend this book, only if one treats it as a novel and not fact.

Summary: HAD ME A BEGGIN!!!
Review: My fiance' kept telling me to quit reading it! I was raising my eyebrows and begging for some spankings! Very erotic anyone know of other books like this trilogy? Would love to find more. Help keep my marriage spicy with some suggestions.

Summary: challenging and very well-written
Review: I found this book challenging in the sense that it came up with a point of view which I do not share and which I therefore had a job to understand. I also found it extremely well-written because I *couldn't put it down* until I'd finished it. I am now off to buy the sequel.

Summary: Disturbing!
Review: If you're considering reading this book, don't be misled--1 star is as low a rating as is allowed for these reviews. This book's on-line description as well as other reviews failed to mention torture, child molestation, brainwashing, rape, etc. I was very disappointed that this is considered erotic. The book's back cover description had only two accurate words in my opinion, haunting and enslavement. If you're looking for entertainment, this book isn't it. Zero stars is my rating.

Summary: A very erotic and intriguing story that will make you blush.
Review: The way Anne Rice takes a childhood fairy tale and turns into an erotic fantasy is simply genius! She picks up from "happily ever after" and takes you on a wonderfully naughty journey! This is a story of taking a spoiled Princess and turning her into a young lady who will learn compassion and to serve with dignity. This is not a book for the faint of heart or someone who gets offended easily, but it is a book for someone who would like to get lost in a different time and in a different concept!

Summary: The Beauty Trilogy - A Clever idea ... but falls short.
Review: Anne Rice was on the right track with her refreshing notion to put an erotic spin to a beloved fairy tale, yet unfortunately, fell short of my expectations. For instance, none of the characters' personalities ever quite fully developed, leaving little chance to connect with any of them. The story was flat with no spark, no passion, no ability to "feel" anything other than, "Oh, no! Not another spanking!" I give Anne 3 stars out of respect for her as an author and her clever approach, but there is so much more to erotica than beatings. For those of you who would truly love to experience erotica at it's best, I highly recommend Miranda Reigns' newly released novel, CyberWebs. Miranda's descriptive writing and vivid imagination will transport you into the heart of the story, allowing you to see, hear, smell, taste and feel all that Miranda does and has done to her.

Summary: In Touch With The Seductive World
Review: The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty captures the the sensuality of the dominant and the submissive. It brings out every seduction ever known to man and has a claiming effect upon the mind.

Summary: WOW!
Review: For those of you who yearn to do a little light reading, this book is not for you. Be advised, this book is not realy for the faint of heart, or those who are squeemish. In reading this book, it is perhaps best to have ready access to a cold shower, or other way to relieve the tension. The Story of O is tame in comparison to this series, and is the best way to look into the Master/slave relationship. A great read, and even better foreplay!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: ~~Sizzles~~
Review: What more could you ask for in an erotica. Blunt and simple, anyone can read this. While vulgar at times, this IS the definition of erotica.

I want more of Anne Rice!
