Summary: A new Nora Roberts Fan!!!
Review: I always put off reading her novels up to this point, but her story line of the Three Sister Island caught my attention. I am hooked, and can't wait until the next one comes out. I felt like she was talking to me about my sisters. We grew up on the East Coast, & even though the women in the book weren't blood sisters, they acted as if they were. The dynamics between the characters are so real, I hope she gets the new one out early.

Summary: A fantastic book filled with witchcraft and romance
Review: Heaven and Earth is the second book in the fascinating trilogy by Nora Roberts.
Ripley, the Three Sisters Island sheriff's deputy, lives a peaceful life, surrounded by her brother, Zack, and her two friends, the calm and nurturing Nell, who is married to Zack, and the annoying and frustrating Mia, the local witch.
But despite all this, Ripley holds powers that she loathes, and that she tries to hide from the rest of the world. Mia and Nell are the only one's to share her amazing power, but despite how many times they try to encourage her to use it, she stubbornly refuses to break the barriers that hold her powers firmly in place.
When MacAllister Booke,a clumsy but brilliant minded researcher, comes to the island to investigate rumours of witchcraft, Ripley scorns his work and feels more than a little annoyed that he has taken up residence in the cottage she was planning to move into.
But Mac is determined, despite Ripley's rudeness, to discover the power and magic that she has hidden inside herself, and soon, the two give in to the power of their physical attraction towards one another, and begin a passionate love affair.
As Ripley's feelings towards Mac deepen, she is confused to discover that cracks in her protective barrier are appearing, and she finds that her power is pushing her to go back to her days of witchcraft with Mia.
Dreams and premonitions convince the already scared Ripley that someone or something is coming, to hurt her and the one's she loves. Ripley soon realises, that she must use her own power, and the power of Mia and Nell, as well as her own love for Mac,
to fight another power, evil and deceiving, that threatens to take over the island she has always loved and cherished.

Summary: A Little Confused Nora Roberts fan in Georgia
Review: I would love to get into this new triology and thought I was pretty careful in keeping track on her new books. I actually jump when I see that a new episode of Lt. Eve Dallas and Roarke has been published. But cannot seem to link up to the FIRST book in this trilogy.
Could someone clue me into the name of the first book on the Three Sisters Island trilogy? ...

Summary: Heaven and Earth (Nora Roberts)
Review: Nora Roberts really knows how to spin a tale. The only problem with the trilogy is that I hate to wait for the next installment.
Robert'stories are not the typical "Romance Novels".

Summary: a reader from wantagh,ny
Review: I finally finished this book. i love NOra Roberts books and have read and enjoyed most of them, but this one really took a lot of time and effort to get through. I justcould not get to the point that I liked Ripley, and couldn't understand why anyone else would either, least of all Mac. She came off like a cartoon charactor that just was annoying. I think Nora could have found a better way to portray a main character without making her look like a clown. I would have liked to have seen the story of the three witches be a little more developed, and less time chatting about Ripleys preoccupation with sex. I'll read the next one to finish the series but I'm almost afraid of how that one will be.

Summary: Not your traditional romance reader...
Review: but I cant help but love these trilogy books. The strength of the women characters is fantastic and who doesnt want someone to appreciate them for all the quirks that make them up. The mystical aspects of the book are really quite believable for anyone who loves a nice Irish story even though this is set in New England.

Summary: Pure magic
Review: Nora Roberts keeps them coming and they are all good. I go through these books in a 1/2 hour and then I can't wait for the next book in the series to be published! Roberts knows romantic fiction!

Summary: A second homerun!
Review: Nora Roberts wins again with her second addition to the Three Sisters Triology. While the first was about a shy, mostly beaten young woman who was finding her way to the unknown, this second installment follows a strong-willed, anything-but-shy young woman who is finding her way back to the known (but unwanted).

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was a great read while I had some time off from work for the holidays. I recommend it to anyone who wants to get lost in a good story with vivid characters.
