Summary: The greatest books ever written
Review: If I could tell the world just one thing it's to get these books whether you are dark or not. Anne Rice's writing is powerful, gripping and exceedingly well-written, a look into the world of vampires that satisfies anybody's need for a good read. Personal favorites? The Vampire Lestat rocked.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Great!!!
Review: Exellent saga of vampiric story.Easy -to- read tales with great sense of time and atmosphere.Extraordinary piece.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Anne will not disappoint the need to feed your literary mind
Review: If you are any kind of devoted reader of Anne Rice. This book should have been on your shelf a long time ago.

I have been reading her books for at least 10 years. She brings Lestat and her other characters to life. She describes every detail as though you were in the room with Lestat and the other characters.

If you are a "LifeBlood" reader, go out and get these books. If you can, find them in Hard Back. Every Anne Rice Book I have is Hard Back. It is worth the money. You will want to read The Vampire Chronicles more than once.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: An excellent experince.
Review: Anne Rice is one of the best authors(vampire) of our time. Her books get better as they go on, but I would have to say that I liked Queen of the Damned the best. Once you read one book is the series you have to read the rest. Anne makes you fell like you are right there in the book with them. She has all the infomation about the times so it seems believable. Anne also makes you think twice about immortality. The problems and pains of her vampires are shown in the books and their life is not made glamorous. If you are interseted in vampires or like to read about them don't miss these books, they will make you believe in vampires.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: I ACTUALLY FELT LIKE I WAS THERE !!!!
Review: Rice's descriptive and vivid choice of words is just spectacular As she takes us through the 15th century New Orleans!I fell in love with New Orleans after this book and had to visit there. Also the way she describes the characters and what they're going through, you feel their pain, temptation, and fear.Rice is a genius when it to the "Dark World" of vampires!

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Needs more plot!!
Review: Interview and Lestat are _wonderful_ with shocking sentuality, but stop there! the rest of Anne Rice's books are formulaic. A teeny bit of story and too much history made them unbearable. The Lasher series is even worse.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Excellent. Well-written, Captivating Story
Review: Anne Rice takes the Vampire myth to a higher, more believable level. The reader feels as if Lestat is an old friend, living his adventures and past along with him. She leaves even the most level headed skeptic wondering if maybe, just maybe, Vampires are real. Rice uses the entity of the vampire to make us examine ourselves and our way of life. The stories are not so much about the struggles of vampires as the struggles of humankind. Undoubtably some of the best fiction ever written. Bravo, Anne.

Summary: these books are so believable

Summary: I loved every book in the series.
Review: Ann Rice's Vampire Chronicals are extraordinary! Every book is action filled, suspenseful, and exciting. She doesn't merely write about vampires, she writes about struggling between good and evil, Lestat trying to find a purpose in a human world as a damned creature. She shows that being immortal isn't really all its cracked up to be.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Fantastic read...Couldn't get enough of Lestat
Review: I am reading the chronicles for the second time and it is just as enjoyable as the first. Lestat is the favorite but each character has their own special personality. Anne rich is a surperb writer.
