Rating: Summary: Highly Recommended, if you are into The Masquarade Review: A great little, inexpensive book that can provide a wealth of ideas for storytellers. Power Players will already own it, and use the knowledge frequently to control the game...if they are allowed to. The book's binding alone is worth the price. The competitive advantage the content provides is priceless...(And this Ventrue got his money's worth...)
Rating: Summary: Almost as good as the other "little black book" Review: Almost as good but the overall creepiness is missing in this one. Written from the point of view of a Kindred scholar, this book collects three version of the development of Kindred, their laws, and the curses the earliest generations either created or earned. Lots of "footnotes" add an air of authority to it but I just didn't feel as creepy as I did with "Revations of the Dark Mother" or "The Erciyes Fragments". I still use it often in the game we've been playing for over four years.

Rating: Summary: One hell of a scary prop... Review: As an live-action vampire gamer, I can say that not only is this posibly the greatest WW book there is, it also makes a great prop. Having the book 'written' by a malkav, and 'published' by another is a great touch that makes the book of Nod easily accessable to any occult character (or malkavian). A touch of genius, and certainly my favourite of all game books.
Rating: Summary: Beautiful legends and artwork Review: Being a Toreador myself, I was initially turned unto the beautiful artwork....but the stories were equally as beautiful and fascinating. Although I was a tad dissapointed as to what the original Toreador had to say about my clan....oh well. As well as being fun to read, it is also a good supliment to the Vampire game.
Rating: Summary: Those with only a passing intrest in vampires will love it! Review: Dramatic. Frightening. Awesome. Incredible. These are just a few of the words that run through my head as write this review. The Book of Nod is truely a thing of dark beauty. The entire feel of the book is one of terrible majesty and horrific pride. If you enjoy vampire stories in any way, shape, or form get this book. I did and read through it twice in one sitting!
Rating: Summary: Great read. A little short Review: Exactly like as the title says. It is a great read, but unfortunately the book will leave you wanting for more.
The Book of Nod presents the history of the vampires as thought for Vampire:The Masquerade. This novel can be enjoyed even by those that are not familiar with the Masquerade setting and other novels. It offers the big picture, explains how the vampires came to be, has great quotes and "commandments", if you will, that vampires are supposed to live by. You will understand the vampire clans and what their traits are and the reader is bound to have a favorite one out of the bunch.
Rating: Summary: An invaluable game supplement, an incredible book. Review: Forget about the obvious value this book holds for V:tM storytellers. Even as a stand-alone book it is an amazing read. It is written in the typical style of Hebrew poetry, rife with parallelism and repetition of themes, and, in my opinion, uses them to greater and more beautiful effect than the Biblical passages it attempts to emulate. Particularly well-written is the description of the rise of the Clanless, which made me shudder at the prospect (as I'm sure was the intent). If you are at all interested in V:tM, buy this book. If you are at all interested in vampires, buy this book. If you are at all interested in Judeo-Christian mythology, buy this book.
Rating: Summary: One of the best books I have ever read!!! Review: Hi , I just wanted to say that this is an extrodanary book. I just love the poem in the Chronicle of Caine , you know: I dream of the first times the oldest memory I speak of the first time and the dawn of darkness Where the light from Paradise lit up the sky and the tears from our parents wet the ground.... One last thing , Read the book, you won't regret it.
Rating: Summary: INTERESTING TO A NON-PLAYER Review: I BOUGHT THIS BOOK SEVERAL YEARS AGO WHILE BROWSING IN A BOOKSTORE. HOW CAN YOU RESIST NOT PICKING UP THIS SLIM VOLUME WITH THAT SILVER OVER BLACK COVER DESIGN? AS I THUMBED THROUGH IT, I REALIZED THAT WHILE IT WAS FOR MASQUERADE, IT COULD STAND ALONE AS A BOOK ON IT'S OWN. I ENJOYED READING THE CHRONICLES OF CAINE, SHADOWS, AND SECRETS. THE NOTES THAT FOLLOWED EACH OF THESE SECTIONS WERE ALSO OF INTEREST. NOW LET'S TALK ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATIONS. THE PICTURES ALONE ARE WORTH THE PURCHASE PRICE. ANY ONE OF THEM LOOK LIKE THEY COULD HAVE COME FROM THE PEN OF CLIVE BARKER (CHECK OUT CLIVE BARKER ILLUSTRATOR I & II). ALL TOGETHER, AN INTERESTING BOOK TO ADD TO YOUR COLLECTION. ...
