Rating: Summary: Worth the read Review: For any Buffy fan out there this is the book for you. It is filled with information on the cast, series(season 1&2),crew etc. This book is full of facts about the series as well as pictures. Well worth the buy.
Rating: Summary: So close, but... Review: Great content, but the layout of the book is jumbled and confusing. (Repeat after me: Form FOLLOWS function!) It also begs for an index, especially since the Table of Contents is so minimal as to be worthless.
Rating: Summary: The Watcher's Guide was the best ever!! Review: I thought the Watchers Guide was so good. I really like how they showed pieces of the script that was cut from each ep and I loved to information about all the vampire.
Rating: Summary: a must have for any buffy fan Review: this guide has everything you need to know about the cast, the crew, the vampires and the creator, joss whedon. i loved it.
Rating: Summary: The Watcher's Guide Rocks! Review: I think this book is so cool because it has great photos, FAQ's, info on the characters, etc.
Rating: Summary: awsome!!! Review: This is the ultimate book for the ultimate Buffy fan
Rating: Summary: Must have for the Buffy fanatic Review: This book rules. If you have ever missed an episode and wondered what it was about, it has a summary of everyone in the first and second season. I couldn't live without my watchers guide. I know every quote and what episode it is from because of this book.
Rating: Summary: spectacular summary of the show - consice, intriguing & fun Review: I wasn't originally planning on buying the book - I am the ultimate fan and didn't think I really needed a batch of interviews. Then I saw the great sections - the book has all the spells from the first two seasons listed, everyone's favorite quotes and even tributes to snyder and darla...i never did like her 0:-P A nice addition was a list of all the songs ever played on the show - who would have thought there were so many? I missed the lack of Kendra pictures *cry* and was relieved to find out that yes - Kendra *was* Jamaican - I knew it all along 0:-) The book made me lose more respect for Sarsh Michelle Gellar though - pretty, talanted and petite, she seems like a nice, together kind of girl. Then you read her interviews and realise she's an airhead...the book was well written, alot of pics, quote and fun - definitely worth the money!
Rating: Summary: It's a really good book if you like Buffy the Vampire Slayer Review: This book has everything from quotes to a special 2 season episode guide. It even has a monster guide and special interviews with the cast, creator, and others. It really is a true guide and a fan would really need this guide if they want to be considered a true fan.
Rating: Summary: Great info that you will only find in an "Official" Guide Review: Hot and Cold is my best description of my experience with this book. The episode guide had some great "behind the scenes", "did you know" type of tidbits, and the Behind the Scenes section of the book is more than worth the purchase price alone. However, I did not like the abundance of quotes, especially when the same quotes get repeated over and over again. The folklore section of the book was extremely dry even though I usually like to learn about that stuff. I didn't think I would ever get through it. Also, there were many errors and misquotes in the book. All in all, I feel that it is the best Buffy book yet. Next time, I just hope they cut down on the quotes and proof read the draft better.
