Summary: What more could you want?
Review: This book has everything that could be expected. And more. I have found more useful information in here than I have found on the internet. The Monster guide and Bloodlust sections are perfect, and the interviews informative. And whoever worked out the layout of Sunnydale for the guide must be some sort of genius. The best bit however is the quotes. Literally hundreds of them scattered throughout the book, recognizing that the show is the important thing, and the book comes second. Usually, official guides are second rate, but this is the exception. I can only hope that there will be a follow up very soon for the third season. Without it I am lost.

Summary: When it comes to Buffy, "We are all her watchers"
Review: A joke gift at Christmas, it was read cover to cover by New Years Eve! BTVS is THE wittiest television show to come along since...well since never. For those of you who snicker when the title is mentioned, loyal viewers get the last laugh (every single week). The quotes, the summary, especially the blurb at the end of each episode that explains the continum for the running stories, so you can see how it all connects. I literarly could not put it down until it was done. When is the next one coming out?

Although when I started reading it, I wasn't that interested in Buffy, this book showed me what I'd been missing! The interviews, photos and episode plot-lines are all great. A good read for casual or dedicated Buffy fans.

Summary: The perfect book for DIEHARD Buffy fans
Review: This book was definitly worth reading if you are a die hard Buffy fan like myself. It is filled with alot of intresting facts. These facts include descriptions of episodes, a description of the town of Sunnydale (which is the same school used in Beverly Hills 90210), interviews with the stars of the show, and short biographies about the stars. For each episode listed there are detailed descriptions(I think it has all of the episodes up to through the second season). They include things like the quote of the week and missing lines that were edited out because the script was to long. It explains what happens in the episode and includes pictures. The only thing lacking, in this book, is the fact that they could have included more quotes and more quiz questions, but overall the book is definitly worth your money.

Summary: Watcher's Guide a must have for all Buffy fanatics
Review: This is quite possibly the best of the books on the mythology of Buffy. Besides the usual cast photos (which are of a good glossy quality) it also boasts of an extensive episode guide to the show's first two seasons including exclusive interviews the entire cast and Joss Whedon. There's the Sunnydale Guidebook which is said to be an excerpt from the Sunnydale Official Board of Tourism and Commerce Brochure depicting all of the hot spots (both of them). I really enjoyed the Monster Guide which is almost 40 pages in length, has explanations on why the vampires on this show don't fly, and many other neat facts and photos. This monster guide may only be rivaled by the monster guide on the official Buffy site and in some respects is more thorough. It's a real bonus. I also enjoyed "Bloodlust" which is an entire chapter dedicated to all the relationships on the show in general, and the intoxicating and fascinating relationship between Angel and Buffy in particular. There's also the Slayer Handbook according to Buffy Summers, the Character Guide, behind the scenes with the regulars and also guest stars like John Ritter, a playlist featuring all the songs played on the show over its first two seasons, and dialogue cut from the original scripts. This is a first rate book and I highly endorse it.
